Source: Press Release: For
the fourth consecutive ratings period, The Arkansas CW is among the nation’s leading CW affiliates.
Leading the way is Arrow,
the CW network’s new Wednesday night hit, delivering a 6.1 rating in the Adults 18-34 demographic.
The performance of
Arrow led an overall primetime ratings performance for
the Arkansas CW that over-indexed the national average for Adults 18-34
by 20%. For
Arrow, the high water mark was a 10.5 rating in Adults 18-34 in week 3 – beating the likes of
The Voice,
Modern Family, NBC’s Sunday Night Football and
Big Bang Theory.
The success of primetime also led to a great first book for
40/29 News at 9. In August the station launched a 9:00 p.m. newscast, and in its first ratings book, 40/29 News at 9
on The Arkansas CW was the market’s top rated local 9:00 p.m. news in the Women 25-54 demographic.
“To
be mentioned in the same breath as
some of the top CW affiliates in the nation is incredibly gratifying
and rewarding,” said The Arkansas CW President and General Manager Brian
Sather. “When you add to that the incredible way viewers embraced
40/29 News at 9:00 p.m. on the CW, it’s a great way to finish another historic year for the station.”
