Former KARK'er Back on the Air

Former KARK/Channel 4/Little Rock anchor Jancey Sheats is back on the air.  Sheats will be anchoring the KARK morning program in the absence of Mallory Brooks who is on maternity leave.  Sheats will be filling in through the end of May.

New GM for KTHV

KTHV/Channel 11/Little Rock has a new General Manager and President.  Arkansas Business reports Marty Schack will fill the position...the one he has held for the interim since last year. 

Sinclair Pushing Forward Calling Out "Fake News"..

Seems Sinclair Broadcasting continues to be a shill for the Trump administration.  It has produced a 4 minute video attacking CNN.  What's really ashame is that Sinclair directs its stations, including KATV Channel 7... to carry these videos...from former Trump aide Boris Epshteyn.  So much for tuning into local news for just the news huh?  Sinclair is doing some heavy sucking up to trump for that merger with Tribune to go through..

Sinclair Responds to Recent Criticism

Poor Sinclair sounds as ignorant as Trump in defending its promos calling out "fake news".  Sinclair calls the spot "corporate news journalistic responsibility promotional campaign."

How pathetic.  And yes KATV has anchors featured in the videos....
