KTHV Hires New Weekend Met

KTHV/Channel 11/Little Rock has hired a new meteorologist.  Nathan Scott will join the Channel 11 weather team in March.  Scott comes to Little Rock from Jackson, Mississippi.  Scott will be the new weekend met.

Fort Smith Station Moving Out of Fort Smith

FTV Live is reporting that KFSM will be moving out of Fort Smith in the coming year.  Station GM Van Comer says the station will be making a move to the the area of Johnson, east of I-49.  FTV Live reports the station has already signed a long term lease for a build to suit project in Johnson....

Ruiz Officially Joins KTHV Morning Team

KTHV/Channel 11/Little Rock has officially named Mariel Ruiz meteorologist and co-anchor of THV11 This Morning.  Ruiz has been with Channel 11 since June 2016.

KARK Plays Follow the Leader

Seems KARK/Channel 4/Little Rock is playing follow the leader as debuts its 4pm news program.  The program debuted today with Ashley Ketz and Keith Monahan as hosts.   In September 2017 KATV/Channel 7/Little Rock debuted its 4pm news short Good Afternoon Arkansas.   Will Channel 11 follow with their own 4pm show....
