KSLA Gets New Sports Director

The new Sports Director at KSLA/Channel 12/Shreveport is no stranger to the ArkLaTex.  Chris Demirdjian is the station's new Sports Director.  Demirdjian comes to Shreveport after working 8 years in the Monroe, LA market.  Before that, Demirdjian worked behind the scenes at KSLA.

Long Time Little Rock Sportscaster Inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame

 Longtime Little Rock Sportscaster Steve Sullivan has been inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame.  Sullivan has been working Arkansas TV for over forty years in Arkansas...and has been at KATV/Channel 7/Little Rock for nearly twenty-five years.  Sullivan has been recognized by the Associated Press and Arkansas Activities Association numerous times throughout his career for his excellence in broadcasting.  The induction into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame took place Friday evening in Little Rock!

ArkLaTex Viewer NOT Happy with Storm Coverage

Apparently this KSLA/Channel 12/Shreveport viewer wanted to watch the CMT Country Music Awards and NOT severe weather coverage.  Severe weather was rolling through Shreveport Sunday night and the KSLA Weather Team broke in with storm coverage.  It's sad people still react this way!
