TV Spy reports, KTBS Anchor/Multimedia journalist Stephen Mayer has joined KCTV in Kansas City. One wonders if there's anyone left at Channel 3!

Some KATV Viewers Could be Up A Creek in the New Year.....

KATV's carriage agreement with AT& T U-Verse expires on Saturday, December 31st at 11:59 PM.

• To avoid impacting local viewers, KATV has presented AT&T with a very fair and competitive deal, but at this point they are not willing to accept our offer.

• If you are an AT&T U-Verse customer, starting Sunday morning, January 1st, you will no longer see KATV.

Last on the Air for LR Reporter....

Today is the last day at KTHV for reporter Faith Abubey. The morning show this morning showed several clips of Faith's work since she began at the station in June 2009.

Former KSLA/Channel 12 reporter Derek Daniel was busted last week in a Shreveport Child Sex Sting. Daniel is the Calumet Specialty Product's communications director.

So much for 'hubbing' of Master Control operations for Nexstar's KTAL-TV NBC 6 in Shreveport. Today they were off the air for at least an hour. A receptionist said the problem originated in Little Rock which now control's KTAL's transmitter, etc.
