Shreveport Station Brings New Weather Guesser on Board
Brian has more than a dozen years experience in weather forecasting, most recently as Chief Meteorologist for WMGT-TV in Macon, Georgia. Brian has also worked at TV stations in Mississippi and Dallas. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in GeoSciences from Mississippi State University and is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.

The blogger here read the "Weather Guesser" thing on another site once, decided it was the funniest thing he ever heard, and thought to himself "If I say the things the other blogs say that'll give me credibility!"
The weather guesser phrase is pretty stupid. It gets old, just like the person writing it in the post.

Yes she is.
Who will KTBS get to take her place when she goes on maternity? It doesn't seem like they have that many people left.
Good question. They really don't have enough people, but they have plenty of time. It's not like Chrissi is going on maturity leave next week. I think she is due around April or May.
Probably won't replace Chrissi, they'll have Ed do it all solo.
Who are these two new weather people on KTBS?
I too am wondering who these 3 mets are doing the weather since friday night....i suppose there are temp agencies that hire out meterologists. Will one become the weekend meterologist? I do pray that these positions will be staffed and remain stable.
