Posts will be few and far between the next couple of weeks as I move into a new apartment. The internet connection where I'm at now is up and down so until I move blogging won't be much.

Moore to the Anchor Desk?

An e-mailer wants to know..See if you can find out some information on Wess Moore being at the anchor desk last night(Thursday) with Liz Massey for KTHV's 10:00 news. Are they trying him out or was he just filling in for Dawn. Personally, I think it would be a great move to put Wess at the anchor desk!

Technical Problems Storm KARK During Severe Weather

Attempted to post this late last night/early Friday morning:

While severe storms moved through many parts of the state, including Little Rock, KARK seemed to experience some graphics broadcast problems. One could see the look of disgust as KARK Met Brett Cummins attempted to show viewers the radar, watch/warning map none of the graphics would pop up on the screen. This occurred around midnight. The first sign I saw things weren't going well was when Cummins ripped out his IFB. Later around 12:15am Cummins explained the problem to viewers...but KARK seems to still be experiencing some graphics problems with local spots AND id's.

Mattingly Returns to KNWA

This from a tipster: KNWA has re-hired Bo Mattingly as a freelance on-air analyst. He premiers Thursday night at 10:00pm. The guy breaks his contract - leaving the station in a lurch for
football season. Then Nexstar sues him for breach - drops the suit after a couple of months - and then puts him back on the air?!!? What are Brian Jones, Mike Vaughn and Brook Thomas thinking????

Storm Brewing Among Mets in Shreveport

This from a tipster: KTAL IS RUNNING A PROMO THAT STATES, "Todd Warren was the ONLY chiefMeteorologist to come in and tell the people about the March 3rd tornadoes."

This is FALSE, Stephan Parr was on at the same time. Plus, ToddWarren's first time on air was after all the Tornado Warnings were already issued.
