I hear Todd Warren is being asked to move from sister station KTAL. This move to free up his over paid weather contract. Plus, who cares what guy/girl does weather for Nexstar, nobody cares....
I highly doubt Nexstar would let him move over there. Some of my friends at KTVE said that their numbers have been slowly climbing. They are fairly confident that the morning meteorologist (Jarod Floyd) will be promoted to Chief Meteorologist. That way, they could keep a familiar face in that slot.
MONROE (TV8) - KNOE-TV has announced longtime twin cities meteorologist Tom Pearson has joined the station as Chief Meteorologist.
Pearson, 48, comes to KNOE from KTVE-TV of El Dorado, Arkansas, where he has spent the past 15 years on air. The Elgin, Illinois native worked for the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma and KFDA-TV of Amarillo, Texas before moving to the Ark-La-Miss in 1993.
Pearson has a four-year degree in meteorology from Northeast Louisiana University, now the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). He is the only meteorologist in the Ark-La-Miss with television seals of approval from both the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association (NWA).
“Quite obviously, we have a great deal of respect for Tom Pearson’s expertise, experience and ability,” said KNOE News Director Taylor Henry. “Adding Tom to our winning weather team seals KNOE’s reputation as Northeast Louisiana’s weather authority, the go-to place for coverage of severe breaking weather, inconvenient weather or a forecast to plan your day.”
Pearson said he’s “looking forward to the challenges” of joining the top rated television news channel in the Ark-La-Miss as its 5, 6 & 10 p.m. forecaster. Pearson pointed out that earlier in his career, he worked with popular KNOE anchors Bonny Van and John Denison, adding, “in some ways, it will be like a family reunion.”
Meanwhile, KNOE announced it has struck a new deal with meteorologist Neil Shaw, who will remain at the station as forecaster on the top-rated Good Morning Ark-La-Miss, which appears Monday through Friday from 5 until 7 a.m.
KNOE-TV is owned by Noe Corp., LLC, a subsidiary of Hoak Media Corporation of Dallas.

and Neil Shaw curls up in a corner as his nightmare comes true.
It'll be interesting to see what other changes are made at KNOE.
Who'll replace Tom at KTVE?

Is Neil Shaw okay with this move? He seems to be great meterologist and an excellent person. I hope that all is well for those involved.
So what happens to Larry Rhymes?
Tom has been on the air for about a week, but there's still no sign of him on KNOE's Web site.
Tom is still MIA from KNOE's Web site
Tom Pearson. 14 years at KTVE. Not ratings increase. Good luck KNOE.
