• A25-54 viewers: ABC:  1.566 M / NBC: 1.834 M / CBS:  1.143 M

Little Rock Weather Guesser Leaving

KARK/Channel 4/Little Rock meteorologist Kira Miner is leaving the station just after more than a year and a half in The Natural State.  In a facebook post, Miner stated she is moving on to Tucson, Arizona to be a morning met.  Miner came to KARK in March 2015

KARK Boasts Election Night Ratings

KARK/Channel 4 dominated election night coverage in the Little Rock market.  TV Spy reports KARK won every quarter hour from 6:30pm Tuesday evening through 3am Wednesday morning.  TV Spy also reports KARK had the highest rated 10pm newscast that night with a rating of 12.3.  

This is part of a shift we’ve seen in the market over the last few months,” said KARK General Manager Mike Vaughn. “For the last few years, we’ve made severe weather, big story coverage and political reporting our top priorities. We’re glad to see that’s making an impact with our viewers.”
