KATV's Heads Get Bigger
Well you can't miss the change at KATV.com. It seems KATV is gearing up to heavily promote the news anchor team of Scott Inman and Christina Munoz as the first step is making the headshots bigger on the station's website.

Seriously, what does "bigger heads" have to do with anything?
The rest of the torso also increased in size for both... not just the head.
KATV has too many irons in the fire and pushing the envelope too hard on promos that really kill intress in what they are actually trying to do!
From Christina Munoz's bio: "she has received various awards including Northwest Broadcast News Association (NBNA), Eric Severaid, AP News awards, and Emmy awards."
Okay, that's pretty broad. If she really won anything of significance, why would she not list them. And if I won any Emmy awards for individual work, I'd certainly list them on my bio or at least the number of Emmys I had won. Does anyone really know the true story here? No, I don't work in the market, and no I'm not on aor, so I'm not jealous, just curious.
Maybe she's just modest and would rather worry about actually reporting the news and not what's in her bio, unlike other people at KATV. All bios are B.S. anyway.
They're B.S. because people lay claim to awards they didn't win.

Screaming "we are news" over and over in promos turns off viewers, especially when it is no longer true.
Man, how jealous are you guys that you now have to go after bio's. Seriously , get over it already. You don't work there and they do. Maybe if you would have tried a little harder you could have. I'm starting to see why KATV is number one, they actually spend their time working and not wasting it on some meaningless blog.

This is kind of off topic, but I am curious as to what Joan Early does at KATV. Does she just come in once a day for an hour and record those short Family First reports? Is she considered part-time? Does she do any producing or anything? It is an awfully cushy job to have.
More Like an hour a week.
