Paulson Leaving KARK
Arkansas TV News can confirm KARK reporter Earnie Paulson is leaving the station and is heading to Okie City where he will has accepted an anchor position. Paulson has been with KARK since May 2000. ATN is working to find out when Paulson's last day at KARK is and what station he's headed to.

OKC is still KWTV's show....but KFOR and KOCO have come on recently. I wonder if he's going to work for one of the big 3 or if he's going UHF? Regardless......good luck Ernie!

KARK tried to screw Ernie Paulson? They do a lot of that when they're not making just plain bad personnel decisions.
Ernie wore out his welcome years ago. He's a little long in the tooth to be making such a sloppy move.
I work down here at KARK 4 and let me tell you about them they are a lot of idiots and i will be glad when i relocate to D.C.!

Speak for yourself. There are a lot of people who like Ernie and hate to see him go. And he is not at all long in the tooth.

How do we know that Ernie ever did that and you never did? Sorry, but I just don't believe it. Ernie's a good guy. But I will join you in wishing him good luck.
you don't know for sure - just like you don't know if he has ever done it to you! good luck with your blinders hope they serve you well! i'm not looking to get into a pissing match with you just remember everything is not always as it seems - a good guy most of the time maybe. but the green eyed monster shows him self in Ernie quite often!

Oh my goodness grow up everyone. You have no idea where this poster lives or what he/she does for a living.
But I have to second some of the posts. I once worked at KARK and heard many times mr. Paulson trash people he worked with. Right after he'd head to the softball field with 'em on weekends.
He has a very low opinion of the staff he works with and the staff at other stations. That said most reporters and anchors do the same thing!
Well, I have to second some of the other posts. KARK did not treat Ernie well. If he did have some low opinions, as you say, it's no wonder.
They treated him as well as any fading star- even if his starlight came from within his own mind. The guy may be sweet- but he did nothing to push himself infront of the crowd. He quit KARK before and he is STILL here hopefully he'll just go now!
He just sits backs and bitches- get out of here while the rest of us try and make something of our lives.

At the risk of sounding like some of you losers who obviously have nothing better to do, I'll say this: Ernie worked with a bunch of morons and was only speaking the truth!
Personally he was the best male anchor KARK had, especially on the morning show (big mistake taking him off that one). Good luck to ernie and tracy - hope they are happy in OK. So sorry to hear about ernie's father who passed away a couple of weeks ago in California. Praying for your family.
