I have worked with Chris Redford. He has mental issues and hates women.I read this story and still can't figure out what there was to file charges over.And what is with the pic of Redford with tape over his mouth in his underwear? Is that a gay thing?
Turney's account is not that important to the station. If Chris had filed charges against Dan "The Orange Man" Walters, it would hit the fan.

I'm not sure why someone on here keeps saying that Turney is writing these posts. I don't know either one of these people, but it seems like a crazy story - one that might be contrived. If you look at Turney's website, he seems like a stand up guy. Don't know about Redford, but by the look of the picture in the rag, he may be looking for money alone - I mean, I Turney gets charged, I suspect Redford will sue. Again, the charges seem very strange.
My daughter has been working with Michael for years. He has been generous and kind. Certainly not the type of man that would be labeled a criminal.

I find it strange a parent of one of Turney's clients knows to visit a blog site about television news to comment on here. Police must have enough evidence against him or they couldn't have pressed charges. I googled Micheal Turney too and didn't find anything about his character or him being a stand up guy.
I work for KSLA - hence, I WOULD know that this blog is available. Friends of Chris Redford....you should give up the comments. I checked on MT's reputation before I allowed my child to enter his program. I also checked the BBB and he had an A+ rating, which very few in the modeling industry do. Stalker....I doubt very seriously. This is some weird and strange accusation.
That settles it. You know everything about him. Do you know everything about Chris Redford? Please share with us. I AM a friend of Chris' and have read the text messages and emails. Did you read the article or just on here to defend a friend?

My daughter has been trained by The Michael Turney Agency and when a friend of mine told me about the blog, I decided to check it out. Good grief! I really have to question the motive behind this action. Mr. Turney has been in business for years and has an exemplary reputation. I've heard about Chris Redford, but not much. I don't know if he is a stand up fellow or not. The mug shot of Mr. Turney was more respectable than the posed shot of Mr. Redford. If I remember corectly the guy got a judgement against Redford.Would that not be public record? Do we see a pattern here maybe?

Well as an outsider looking in. The story looks as if the two men were friends at one time, and they aren't now. I don't see why this apparent fuss is anyone else's business and why charges needed to be filed. It looks as if the reporter wanted to make the business man look bad to the public, and I hope that the law drops this case. No one is in danger and it is a waste of time and money to all involved. Stalking laws are for people that are threatened. I am sure Mr. Turney didn't deserve to be arrested and that Mr. Redford didn't want that porno looking picture in the paper. I say... Just drop it all.

Don't know about Judy leaving KTBS but look for Jennifer Grey the weather guesser to return now that she is single once again - Brad Reeves only lasted 1 year with her - she must have traded up!!

Jen's been doing those Bewley's spots from Florida the the entire time she's been there. This is round 2 for "Little Brad" so he is 0 for 2 in the marriage department. Now that Reeves Marine does not exist any more there is no reason to move back. There is much more opportunity for both of them in Florida then there is here.
But if they have split, then she very well may want to move back to be closer to her family.
True, but if Jen moves back that would be a major mistake. There are a lot more men there in Florida. Many with more money and less baggage then the Reeve's.

Exactly, moving from the #16 to the #83 market would be professional suicide. Jen can make more money there, and have a much better quality of life. There is so much more to do plus the Miami night life and social scene is amazing.

There was a newspaper article recently about the fate/demise of Reeves Marine and Li'l Brad's dad said his son was recovering from stomach cancer. Okay... so do you think this has had anything to do with the split? Also, why anyone would leave a top 20 tv market to come to Shrevesdump would be a really blonde thing to do. Jen could use her "assets" to attract bigger fish in South Dade, unless she really lacks the smarts and ambition. Got the looks though and at her age, she better make the most of 'em . She can always "fallback" to Shrevesdump and wind up at KTBS since Alexandra Cranford is gone. But it would be a stupid-move careerwise.

I mean come on, she moved to Miami as much for the WTVJ gig as anything. She moved back to KTBS "because of love" (i.e. relationship to li'l Brad) and then moved back to Miami to work at WTVJ. Is everybody in Shreveport such a yokel to think that folks wouldn't consider their careers instead of family-stuff? Is being so close to mama that big of a deal when you're young and good looking and you know you can work the moneymaker in a bigger pond? I've been to South Fla many, many times and she fits a particular "mold" for on-air weather talent / AM-show personalities. Just check out any TV website in S. It looks like this filing trumped up charges on people he has a vendetta against has caught up with Redford.Gee this has been thrown out of court once for lack of evidence.
I would imagine Chris can forget about working in TV anywhere,muchless here.He seemed to do a good job,bringing an adveriser up on crazy charges is not cool.He knew that was trouble.

Just do a couple searches on this blogsite and you'll find where Redford would post on and on and on about being persecuted or trashed on the blogsite. Maybe he was but he would exacerbate the issue to the point of being ridiculous.
So yeah, it's pretty interesting to see how quiet he has been considering the recent developments.

Redford is probably trying to find a lawyer who will sue the station on his behalf.He will say they fired him because he is gay and because he filed that shit on Michael Turney.In truth,he was let go for violating specific policies of KTBS.
My guess is that he probably already has lawyered up or at the very least has been told to keep his mouth shut and fingers off the keyboard. Maybe his pic of him with duct tape on his mouth is more practical than we realize.

I would guess 2 things: lawyer is researching his termination against current law or taking the case on a contingency basis. Either way it would take a couple weeks to get a lawyer to take a look at similar cases for precedent ruling.
In either of those cases, a good lawyer would tell his client to keep his mouth shut and stop posting, even anonymously. That would be hard for Redford I'm sure.
He will leave. There is no reason for him to stay.

No, the payola refers to receiving gifts in exchange for endorsement or considerations in kind. I think someone was referring to a rumor alleging that maybe Turney was giving gifts to Redford. I think that's what's being asked.
Far too much has been made of this, I am not in TV news nor do I follow this blog. This blog has been emailed around Shreveport and I got it yesterday. I am friendly with Chris and Michael Turney. Awhile back when they were friends, Michael Turney gave Chris clothes that he had outgrown. I remember at the time Chris posted on facebook that he was dressing better thanks to "a friend". How or why Michael Turney would stalk Chris is a mystery to me. This is all stupid and to have one party drug through the mud and the other party loose his job is beyond weird. You people are mean, I am glad I am not in your business.

Those back ground checks are not as thorough as they claim. I know several people in law enforcement in both cities and parishes and only one of them was fully checked out.
