Former LR Weather Guesser Joins NWA Station
Bybee
brings over four years of meteorology experience to KHBS/KHOG-TV, most
recently working for KARK-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas. Prior to KARK,
Bybee
worked as a meteorologist at KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bybee, an
experienced storm chaser, has logged nearly 45-thousand miles in 23
states while reporting on tornadoes and hail/wind events.
His degree in meteorology was earned from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
“Darby’s
addition creates the largest team of meteorologists in our viewing area
and enhances our commitment to provide the most comprehensive weather
coverage around the clock,”
said KHBS/KHOG-TV News Director, Greg Shepperd. He adds, “Whether it’s
on-air, online or our mobile weather tools, 40/29 Weather has viewers
covered 24/7.”

NWA is fortunate. He was, by far, the best weather guesser KARK has had in years.

What is the deal with the new weather guy on kark he looks like he has a wig on . Also is Wess Moore going to do sports during the weekends for KATV I thought he was going to be the new sports director at KARK once his six months non-compete clause ends .
KATV already has a weekend sports guy. Could Wes be the new weekend anchor? BTW, what was with the producer on the desk at THV with Liz the other night?
What is with the female weather guesser on THV that told everyone the other night not to freak out?
KARK is not going to hire a new sports person to replace Kerri Ohara. That position went to KNWA in Fayetteville. KARK now only has only one full time sports person in central arkansas.
You can't "replace" Keri O'Hara. What are you going to do, hire Erin Andrews?
Why would this station pick up KARK trash. Sorry he kinda of reminded me of Brett Cummins. If KARK fired him you would think that another station would relized he must be pretty bad.
Does anyone know why KARK did not try to hire Tracy Beene. She would have been a female to the weather team with KARK hasnt had in a long time. Plus she is fimilar with Little Rock and does a much better job than this joke of a weather guesser they have on now.
Darby isn't "KARK trash" He was great at his job and he was definitely one of the better meteorologists in this market. I'd rather have him than several of the ones still here.
Traci Beene? Really? She might be nice, but she was horrible on-camera.
Maybe se was and that is why she would fit in with the other on air talent a KARK.
