No Rehearing of Case Concerning Hospital Records of Slain KATV Anchor

Well the soap opera continues in a case against St.Vincent Infirmary Medical Center of Little Rock concerning the medical records of slain KATV anchor Anne Pressly.  Arkansas Business.com reports the Arkansas Supreme Court denied Thursday a request from the hospital for a rehearing of the case.  Meanwhile, Patricia Cannady, Pressly's mother, intends to move forward with the case involving the Little hospital.

just my opinion but this neither falls into the continuing news story category or an Arkansas TV News story. Anne's friends in the business want to just keep this story going. I wonder if the judge ruled in the hospital's favor and ended all of this if we'd still be getting the constant updates?

Hope the court throws the book at the hospital. There is no excuse for their behavior and should be taught a lesson.

What more can be done? Didn't people at the hospital lose their jobs?

KATV won't let it go. Talk about letting your personal feelings affect your coverage.

From my experience with St. Vincent I'm surprised they didn't try to bill the family for each employee who improperly viewed the records.

Anne's killer is in for life without parole and employees who broke the rules at St. Vincent were punished.

The murder was horrific and sad, but it is time to move on.
