NFL Fans Upset Over Direct TV Glitch With LR TV Station
Seems some Cowboys/Giants fans who subscribe to Direct TV are having an issue seeing the game on KARK. KARK has made several posts on its Facebook page stating the problem is on Direct TV's end as things are ok on their end. The problem seems to be the folks at Direct TV are pointing the finger at Channel 4. The station says the signal is fine via antenna, cable, and U-Verse

The signal broke up during the football game Wednesday night and America's Got Talent on Tuesday night. If you call the station, they are going to say it's DirecTV's fault. If you call DirecTV, they are going to say it's the station's fault.
Since I am sure that KARK does not monitor its signal as it appears over the air via antenna, I am sure they had no idea they were having problems with their program until someone called to tell them.
TV sure isn't like it used to be.
It wasn't KARK's problem. The signal was FINE on U-Verse. DirecTV has a history of problems like this. In 2008, they had a problem which caused DTV viewers (including myself, at the time) to be unable to watch the Winter Olympics on KARK for a time.
It was DTV's equipment in Little Rock which was at fault, but they weren't interested in solving the problem quickly. It's the reason I switched to UVerse, and it's what I told DTV when I left.
KTVE in Monroe-El Dorado and KTAL in Texarkana-Shreveport had the same problem with DirecTV several years ago. It is strange this issue only happens with Nexstar stations.
they were having the same issue on USA network on DirecTV last night as well.

had this problem last night with Directv. Switched over to Antenna signal and everything was fine.

I was at the game last night and the Back's were out coached and out played. Speaking of coaches Smith is a soar looser. Instead of congratulating ULM's coach at the end of the game he and most of the team took off for the locker room. So much for sportsmanship.
Coach is a dud. Old Frank will be calling for buying his contract out. Just wait and see.

If it is DTV's problem and affecting KARK's signal, why doesn't KARK call DTV to find out what the problem is and have DTV correct it?
I used to work at one of KARK's sister stations, and blaming DirecTV is a Nexstar copout they use when the problem is actually with the station. I do not know about the particular problem during the game, but at my station, 70-80% of the time the problem was on the stations end, not DirecTV's end.
I wish Mallory Hardin would go back to the real smarter Mallory Hardain from the days she worked at KFSM up in northwest ARKANSAS and not the clueless morning girl that KARK management is making her portray.

Bless their hearts. No matter how hard they practice those boys don't stand a chance this year.
