Anchor Recognized for Reporting on Disabilities

Today's THV anchor Pam Maccam has been recognized for her reporting on people with disabilities.  Baccam was presented with the Mardi Gras Award by the 'Arkansas Can Do" Coalition.  It stands for "Media Awareness on Reporting Disability Issues, Grade on Reporting with Accuracy and Sensitivity."

Perhaps she should do a story on people who have trouble speaking on TV... she could be her own interview

It is so very difficult to watch Pam Baccam. Is the award for her reporting about disabilities while suffering her own disabilities? Her skills are very weak and she seems unprepared for her task. It appears as though she is reading the news copy for the first time EVERY NEWSCAST. No preparation? Inconsistent tempo, misspoken words, uncomfortable dialog with weather and sports. Many folks get better with time but this does not appear to be happening here. I can't watch anymore. The new weekend anchor at KATV is so very talented and gorgeous.
