Now You See Them...Now You Don't....

Some things you just can't make up...and this is one of them.  Arkansas Business.com reports the day after nearly 30 staffers at KLRT/KARK were let go,  help wanted ads were posted on the Arkansas Broadcaster's Association website.  Openings were posted for for two photographers, a news reporter, a sports anchor and a weekend anchor/reporter. Strange thing though...no one that Arkansas Business contacted at KLRT/KARK knew anything about the job postings.  Then according to Arkansas Broadcasting Association Executive Director Doug Krile the same person that requested the postings...requested they be taken down.

Didn't know he was on KARK but he was late night on KAAY. Don't remember what his "on-air" name was.

Someone at KARK needs to train a person to operated a camera on a live shot. The shot from Benton showing the Benton Cheer Squad the other night @b 5P proved that the person "operating" the camera had no clue as to how to focus, turn the light on or do a wide shot of what was going on.
