That's a big upgrade for KLRT/16 over what they had. And KTHV, welllll.......still pathetic.

odd that THV STILL hasnt replaced him. Crazy that he and his wify are at comp channels. I cant stand to watch Mark Edwards and his erragant self. Duff? WTF
10:05 AND 10:17,if you are journalists, you need an education because you sure can't spell simple words. Wow! "do","wife", "arrogant."
No one considers Alyson a competing journalist. She's just the girl they send up to shake her butt for the U of A football coach and see if he'll talk afterwards.
@9:18 that's very true, but it's a good gig if you can get it.
I do believe that someone at 4:14 A.M. is sooooooo jealous of someone.
Like Alyson has any idea what is going on at the station to share with her husband. She just shows up, reads the news, and leaves a couple hours later.
And I'm not saying that to be catty. I absolutely applaud how she's found a way to get paid so well to do so little.
How is Wes an upgrade? The guy has no enery or emotion. Sorry but Raath is solid. Always enjoyed his sportscasts. I hope he signs on with someone else, just not sure who.
I'd say it's about an even swap -- Raath for Moore. I agree that Wess has no energy. His sportscasts are boring and so is he. His presence will be a non-factor for 16.
Good job in getting Wes to KLRT. Raath was good but never got a solid fit here in LR. THV needs Wes back but don't knock Mark Edwards. To call him arrogant means that you don't know him. He is friendly and kind. His energy and enthusiasm for sports is in his blood since he was young. His delivery is sometimes inconsistent and less reserved but only because he is genuinely excited about what he is sharing in the sports world. Just understand that when you watch.
Here's the deal: Raath is more of a Sports guy than Wes. Raath's energy & personality makes the difference. Wes is a former News guy & that shows in his sportscast. Good delivery, not a lot of energy. It seems forced at times. Not saying that he's bad, but when you have a former News guy doing Sports.. you get Wes Moore. Mark is a radio veteran, who reinvented himself as a good sportscaster. He's got the energy, personality, sports knowledge & experience. Everyone's delivery is different. Raath has a clean, TV delivery, Wes has a slight Southern drawl & Mark has a TV/Radio voice, w/an urban flair. It's not Ebonics, you can understand him just fine. Everyone Anchor & Reporter has their own niche. If you don't like what you're seeing on TV, solving the problem is simple, change the channel. #truth

Since you left out Sully, I'll put his critique in.
Sully is a dumbshit homer who falls for anything any U of A official says.
Maybe Sully should grow a pair and question them once in a while. Or maybe at least try to get a one on one with the program's coaches.

a better question is who would care if we just got rid of sports altogether? Viewers do not care! We already know the sports stories from twitter.
I love sports as much as the next person. But I cannot remember the last time I tuned in for a local sportscast on purpose.
Sports is last because most people go to bed after the weather. That's a fact, Jack.
Also, why all the fuss over the Hogs? There are many, many more people that didn't go to UA and don't care about them that do.
Yeah, old Frank still has his hand in the goings on.
David Raath may be a nice guy, but knows nothing about sports! Unless it is about his beloved Sooners.
