Slain Anchor's Mom Can Proceed With Civil Case Against Hospital

The Arkansas Democrat/Gazette reports the Arkansas Supreme Court says Anne Pressley's mom can proceed with a civil case against a Little Rock hospital.  The court ruled Patricia Cannady can proceed with a lawsuit claiming outrageous behavior by a hospital and three workers who illegally looked at her daughter’s medical files, but an invasion of privacy claim must be dropped.  The court did uphold a ruling of a lower court that Cannady cannot sue the hospital for punitive damages.
