Shreveport Met Brings Suit Against Former Employer's ND (Former LR ND)

Here's a story with Little Rock AND Shreveport ties.  The station is KXAN in Austin, Texas. TV Spy reports News Director (formerly with KLRT) Michael Fabac departed the station all of a sudden due to a couple of lawsuits for libel and racial discrimination.  TV Spy says management isn't commenting.  The discrimination suit is being brought by former KXAN Met Rhonda Lee, who now works for KTBS/Channel 3/Shreveport.  Lee says she was let go last August after being “repeatedly subjected to crude and insensitive remarks about her race.”

Wondered when this thread was going to be posted.

Not surprised by this lawsuit. This is the second former Little Rock ND or SD involved in a discrimination lawsuit.

Good, I hope Rhonda wins.

Good luck Rhonda. I went through a similar situation. Back in 2008 KTAL Sales Manager Chuck Stephens resigned before he was fired due to multiple discrimination complaints and went back home to Little Rock.
