Note to the folks in the "Middle":
People don't spend 800-3000 dollars for High Definition TV sets to watch low resolution garbage! Get with or get left behind (well, it might be too late for that already!)

Has that nerdy sports guy on channel 4 already been canned? I think he was suspended soon after he went back to kark. Is he as big of a jerk as he appears to on tv?

What is up with Meredith's new look? I hope that the station didn't put that type of "do" idea in her head. It really doesn't suit her and is distracting. HD may not be such a great thing for 11, especially on the weekends.

Will this make the anchor guy's head look even bigger? And the anchor woman's head smaller?

Remember anchors and anchoretts; HD will show your makeup lines and whether you're wearing any at all.

The evening anchorlite will have to put some powder on the top of his bald head.

It should be noted that KARK-TV made a similar announcement last week. However, their planning to unveil a new set (which is they need). Considering the look of the other three stations set I guess it does not look so bad.

THV made the announcement however, you watch, it'll be MONTHS maybe even a YEAR before they actually broadcast thier news casts in HD!

It's funny how the headlines on this all read that they WILL be first with HD. Yet no date is given when it will happen. How are they certain another station isn't closer? I hope that someone beats them to the punch so that station's GM end up looking like a giant fool!!!!

They don't have to beat him to the punch for that.

Hey, this may mean the return of "Curly", "Girly", and "Squirrely" to the Arkansas airwaves.

i just can't wait to see the "Winter Stooorm' in HD!

Oh, my yes. The Winter Stooooorm will be something in HD.

They need to order a case of Max Factor makeup right now to avoid the rush.

Hey, is there anyway you can turn down the resolution on those studio cameras when you have a tight shot of me?

Been seeing their wide screen promos. Resolution looks to be only 720. Are they going to transmit a 720 picture and just use 16:1 format?

Does this mean that Craig O'neal will be even louder?
