Better Late Than Never...
A tipster tells ATN, KTAL, Channel 6's main news anchor Michelle White Lafitte has been missing the start of several newscasts lately. I guess she thought 5 o'clock meant it was time for something else.......

What in the world??? I watch KTAL daily and Michelle is there on time every time.
The question is WHEN Ktal will correct the mistake made in hiring her in the first place! KTAL once had a great newcast, but these days well the farmyard seems a better place.
I agree, KTAL was really climbing the ladder when all of the sudden NBC 6,Michelle and a new news set came along and wrecked it. I think KTAL should get rid of Michelle and hire new anchors! (and build a new set!)
I remember when they had Shannon Slaton and a really good morning show. What happened to that show?
She is late to the set everyday. PA's have to rush her to get reay. It bit her a couple of weeks ago she was late and they started the show without her then she appeared from nowhere.
You know.... I never thought I'd see Al Pierce's hairstyle re-appear on TV again. And just this past week, I see MEEshell on KTAL sporting the very same hairdo.
Too funny...
I agree with everyone, Michelle just doesn't have it anymore. Where has she been for the past 3 weeks? She get's more vacations than anyone I know.
She puts on the dog too much. Who in the world around our area is she trying to impress anyway. In most places, if you're late, you are FIRED on the spot.
