From a tipster: KAIT News Director Randy Parrott is leaving the station. Assistant News Director Hatton Weeks will serve as interim. Parrott's last day is Feb. 29th.

Ok, Found out directly from the station themselves, He's not going anywhere at the moment, Just getting out of the station, makes one wonder why tho..But he does plan to stay in the biz, We just don't know when/where yet...
He hired Melissa Simas, so he's ok in my book!!!
If this story were to air on KARK he would be called the "Interm" news director.
Parrott is a good guy, and a capable news director. He'll land somewhere good I'm sure.

No, I believe that was Harvey Cox that hired Melissa Simas.
Tiffany Blankenship or whatever her name is now is better looking than any anchor KAIT has ever had.
