KNWA Shows Some Raw Hog Hide
This from an e-mailer: KNWA did a live report from Razorback Stadium during Saturday Night Live after the South Carolina game. During the live report, they cut away to some taped interviews with Houston Nutt and some of the players. During Felix Jones' interview in the locker room, a naked Razorback player enters the picture and is clearly visible for several seconds in the background. The camera operator finally pans left to take the player out of the picture, but the taped footage airs during the live report anyway. Incredible! (I have this on my DVR; I'm sure anyone who taped Saturday Night Live has it also.

Someone put it on YouTube FAST! I want to see it. And why were they doing a live report during SNL? Wasn't the game way over by then? And who didn't catch this?

Yikes! Arkansas allows locker room interviews and not in an "ante room", next door?
They may be the only college football program that still allows that access. Not saying that "full access" is that bad, just unusual. Most college sports info staffs try and do a better job of "environment control" for their players.
There was no reason to do live reports during SNL for a game that was long over. This just shows how screwed up some of the priorities are there. Anyone at all who cared about that game was either there for it, or out celebrating after the win. Complete waste of time and resources. Add to that the fact that they aired not only a naked butt, we also got full frontal. Go check your DVR and you'll see.
Just goes to show that management changes are needed...
Remember, everyone looks bigger on camera.
Whoever cut that pack won't be written up - they'll be canned. It takes less than two minutes to blur anything that needs it. The producer will probably get written up, but the editor is history.
Why can't they show us pictures of Melinda Mayo in the nude(no wait, a live shot would be better)?
So... they have a taped interview, the photog CLEARLY knows there's material not fit for broadcast in the middle of an interview, and it doesn't get flagged by any of the at least 2, and probably 4 or 5 people that see it?
And people actually think they can get NEWS out of that place? With that kind of attention to detail, they broadcast it's raining outside, I'm going to look.
All I know is, if it were a nude woman in the background, all of you guys would be salivating over that and not worried so much about the foul-up that allowed it to happen!

Glad I am able to watch SNL on WNBC and don't have to put up with this "hometown news" coverage that just basks in Razorback poo. . .

Since their switching is done at LR, looks like the problem originated there.
It happens. Last year KFSM was doing a interview with DMAC in the locker room after a game and Keith Jackson was in the background the whole time completely nude. They showed it several times.

that circus outfit of a sports department at KLZR is a joke...still show the guy nude knowing that it's probably in bad taste, what morons...and the urgency to cut into Brian Williams SNL was what again...unfrickinbelievable!! when is KARK going to wise up and drop those idiots and do their own sports?

I can believe that. KARK has not learned how to switch to HD after a cut-in or local to net HD show. They forget to throw the switch at times so I can believe that KARK did not switch the offense footage or whatever. I'll bet that at least 500 people saw it on that station.

wow. What's the big deal? Its a naked body. America is messed up. All kinds of violence is shown but whenever a little bit of nudity is shown, there is an uproar. Now I don't think there should be naked bodies left and right on tv, but seeing a naked man in the background of a late night interview shouldn't get such an outcry.

Ok to the retard that knows nothing about how KARKs master control is run, please read carefully(I will go slow):
Once Kark gives up control he cant take it back until KNWA gives him control, its a lock out system to prevent accidental mis punches. THE guys in the back are also running three stations, so for the guys to see the penis react to the penis and ask for control back so they can remove said penis from the air waves would have taken forever and by then the penis would probably have been gone, so what were they suppose to do?? IF you have so many great solutions to this problem im sure they could get you an application so you can be on penis patrol(you seem so involved with them)
Bottom line its a KNWA goof and thats all stop blaming KARK. Also nobody in little rock saw the pig skin, but that explanation would take to long and probably make your head hurt. Now go sit down before you hurt yourself or type something stupid (again).

There are all kinds of violence on TV but people get upset over this? I get disgusted when I see an act of violence on tv...even if it is fake. But at naked man in the background is wrong? Everyone is naked underneath their clothes. UGH.
Now on the flip side, KNWA shouldn't be doing a live interview in a locker room anyway as there are guys showering there. Also they shouldn't have been interuppting SNL if the game was already long over. Just my 2 cents.

LOL. No offense, but I pedsonally do NOT find Jessica Dean to be all that attractive. Maybe she'll look better with age. Sad to say, but personally, I find Anne Jansen to be MUCH more attractive that Jessica Dean, and I do not find Anne Jansen to be all that attractive.

the news directors who allow nationally broadcasted shows to be interrupted for a report about sports are serious douches. I don't care about local sports enough...really it can wait till the news broadcast, which is predominantly sports and some hack reporting, yes knwa, 40/29 and kfsm. you all suck.
