What? What?

All I know is that if I hear any more of this Race for the Cure stuff this week I am going to vomit! Skin cancer kills WAY more people. But this stuff gets hyped because it's all about women,.

that is brilliant. if you knew anyone affected by cancer, it would make you want ot vomit on more ways than one. cancer is horrible regardless of the type. 8:10am - you are a horrible person. perhaps karma will turn you around. i'd get some extra cancer screenings if i were you.

You miss the point. What that person is saying is that the emphasis placed on breast cancer is totally out of proportion to the amount of people it impacts.

I have to admit...I think the breast cancer issue is over-hyped, especially at this time of year. If I am not mistaken, lung cancer kills more women than breast cancer. And heart disease kills more women (AND men) than anything. It just gets annoying hearing nothing but breast cancer and fundraisers, etc., in the weeks leading up to the Race for the Cure. Enough already.

no doubt, they could use some walking.

Don't smoke. Don't drink.

Heck, don't even leave your house.

(But if you do leave the house, be sure to pick up a #5 value meal at McD's).

I just have to say...after all the mean-spirited, nasty, ultra-personal, and prurient comments that have been made on this blog...even going so far as to use people's names and even bring their spouses and families into it...the posts that get removed have to do with overweight people????

It's in your genes. If a member of your immediate family has or has had cancer, heart disease, etc. you are probably going to experience the same thing. This is common knowledge. What good does walking over a bridge do for the cancer anyway? Almost as much hype as the 50th anniversary of you know what.

I'm confused. I thought this was about the Citadel DOS being promoted to Market Manager. For the record, her name is Cindy Thompson. She replaces Jim Beard who was a great guy. As for Cindy, she is a strong leader, one of the fairest people I've ever met, and a delight to work with. I don't know an unfavorable thing comment ever made about her.

By out his contract for 15M and let him go. Too big for his britches anymore.

He will go, but I think it'll be under his own steam at the end of this season. If he can't win with the team he has now, then he is a lousy coach who just can't win, period. I think he was actually trying to leave last year when it came out that he had called those other schools. Now that Broyles is gone, so is everybody's patientce with Houston.

I'd do some extra reading on genetics if I were you.

I am really tired of going to this site and there being nothing new. I am going to boycott this site for a month and then come back and see if something real was posted. I just can't stand how he never updates his blog.

Several questions come to mind:
-Who actually made the call to fire Beard?
-How long before Neal leaves, or Cindy fires him?
-Have any of the staff that Jim was "so close" with left to follow him to his new job?
-How long will they give Cindy to turn LR around?
