I noticed that Fort Smith/Fayetteville gained over eight thousand households in one year. If they do that again, next year, they will move into the top one hundred markets and get more national advertising revenue.

Speaking of NWA, I saw a job posting for a weekend anchor at KNWA. Who's leaving and what's going on over there?

Lets just hope their news reporting improves, because right now, I would hate to see them in a higher market. It will be too sad to view.

7 needs to fix their audio/video sync problems coming out of their station. it is really annoying to watch their station and the audio be behind the video. does anyone else notice this?

Yes, I noticed that started about two weeks ago. It is very annoying, almost as annoying as Pam Smith.
Will she ever LEAVE?

11 needs to fix their loud audio problem when they go from studio to commercials and back to studio, especially when Craig comes on.

Did anyone catch the new KATV News promo after their 10 p.m. news on Monday? I am the most critical of KATV viewers - but, this piece was impressive. It inventoried their entire talent list with comments as they pertain to their particular area of reporting...NICE...and very well produced.

Kudos to whomever produced the piece. I haven't seen anything this good in this market since Channel 4 Eyewitness News did their "say hello" campaign back in the 80's, and maybe some of KATV's promos in the early-mid 90's.

I hope their news product at 7 can keep the pace with whomever is doing these promos -- well done.

i heard it was done by an out of house company.

is that cheating? hiring others from outside the business to do your promos because you suck at doing them yourself?

Why would that be cheating? They use wire services to fill newscasts when they're too lazy to go out and do their own work.

And when are they going to take down Paul Eels picture? It's been a year!
