KTBS Met Gone
Seems like these days I've got more questions than answers. Anyway KTBS Weekend Met Jennifer Gray has left the station. I know this was pointed out in the comments section a few posts down. Her bio at KTBS.com is no longer there so I take it this past weekend was her last. Where's she headed?

She's headed to the NBC in Miami and will do well.
Bigger question of the day, Shannon Slaton over at another S'port station is leaving? Saw a post for the morning anchor job.
People are dropping like flies in S'port.
Good for Shannon. KTAL had a chance to pick her up for the main gig. She is a good anchor and a better person. KTAL is losing its best reporter and anchor in one swoop.

Shannon's leaving 6???? Wow. I have heard something about Dave Schawartz (her husband) leaving as well. If thats true, where are they headed.

KTAL made a huge mistake for not signing Shannon for the main gig at nights. Now they are going to loose her all together. Rough times for Channel 6. They get to watch the best thing they had walk out the door. It is going to be nearly impossible to find someone with as much personality as her and who will have such good chemistry with Rustin Duke. Now the question is if they are going to rush into a hiring someone new and mess up the best show they have at the time being.
Who cares about the morning show? Todd Warren and his 25 years of weather are enough to keep people watching. The instant weather network is an impressive tool that not only provides up to minute weather information. You take this state of the art forcasting tool and the talent of Todd Warren and you have a time tested winner.
Nobody is watching Shannon Slatton and Rustin Duke.

I agree Todd Warren and Rick Boone in the morning would be enough for me to wake up to. I don't care if everyone thinks Todd, Rick and Heidi stink and get paid too much. I like them!!
"instant weather network"... okay, anonymous at 3:46 pm...you clearly work at the station, maybe in promotions or management? Agreed--Todd Warren is the best in the market, but he works in the evenings... that's not the issue here.

KTAL and Nexstar run like a well oiled machine. Todd Warren brings years of weather knowledge to the station. Managment at KTAL is A++
