Former Little Rock "On Your Side" Reporter Beaten in Pulaski County Sheriff's Race

Not much is on former Little Rock "On Your Side" reporter Dewayne Graham's side. Graham got beat by a wide margin in the race for Pulaski County Sheriff. Graham received 33,226 votes to Charles “Doc” Holladay's 73,977. Graham had this to say to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette," “I’m relieved and I’m disappointed,” Graham said. “I’m relieved because this has been a 15-month process and has taken a lot of time and energy on the part of a lot of people. “I do appreciate the fact that the voters have spoken, but I’m disappointed that the voters have spoken to the status quo,” he said. “But we did raise issues and we’re proud of it.”

Yes DeeWayne--the voters have spoken. And the message they sent is that we need a law enforcement professional running the Sheriff's office---not some unqualified washed up half-a***d investigative reporter. You claim to have raised issues but the only thing you raised was an old army tent. Did you REALLY think people would embrace that idea!!!!?????

Electing DeeWayne as Sheriff would be like re-electing Tommy Robinson. (for those of you too young to remember TR, ask a veteran or browse your archives.).
I would have voted for Jay Campbell, Dan Harmon, Nick Wilson, or Jeff Skilling before I would have let this idiot have the keys to the jail!

DeeWayne is the reason that the gene pool need a lifeguard.

Why not use the term defeated? The term beating in any context doesn't bring up a pretty picture in my head.

Just my 2 cents....or less in this case.
