Local Sales Director for KARK Named

Arkansas Business is reporting Mike Vaughn has been promoted to the position of director of sales at KARK. Vaughn has been general sales manager at KNWA-TV in Fayetteville and KFTA-TV in Fort Smith since 2003.

Nexstar Senior Vice President Brian Jones had this to say about Vaughn's promotion. "Mike has done a terrific job in northwest Arkansas. “He played a key role in relaunching the station and building an excellent sales staff that has excelled in that competitive and fast-growing market.”

Jones also told Arkansas Business the announcement of a new News Director will be coming in the next couple of days.
