THV Begins Online News Update
THV is once again proving it's the leader when it comes to online content. todaysthv.com now features a 'THV Video Webcast News Update'. The webpage doesn't say how often it's updated BUT it does say it's updated Monday through Friday. The webcast news update like all THV online video uses Microsoft Media Player. Channel 11 has consistantly proven that it is bound to be #1 and stay here. This is just another great feature to the already local Todaysthv.com. (finally a local news site that doesn't depend on AP stories)
It's 8:09 a.m. - checked the THV Website and its online news update. One problem: No news, No weather - just a silly "follow the dart" ad. Someone must be asleep at the wheel.
8:52 a.m. - someone must have woke up the driver.
People keep saying KTHV will beat KATV... but they never do.
THV sure has all the other stations in LR beat with its website. I am waiting now for LIVE streaming newscasts and archived newscasts.
Actually KTHV has beaten KATV in the mornings and on more then one occasion in the late news.
If they could ever get anything like a lead-in or lead out (is that the right term) at 7:30 they'd be even more competitive at 5 and 6.
Make that 6:30...I really should proof read what my fingers type.
