Nobody cares. I think Arkansans are really good with the "don't ask, don't tell" attitude. And it certainly is NOT right to mention specific names on this topic.
Strange how there seems to be (or have been) a proliferation of gays, lesbians and bi's among meteorologists in this market, though. Some are out among the party crowd, some are so far in they're married (but occasionally out to the party crowd!)
To generalize, I think if a viewer is scratching his or her head over a particular personality, they really don't want to know. You know, I don't really care whether or not the guy who delivers my mail or my grocery checker is gay. I don't have to know. They're providing a service. I don't care.
All right, I've found 6 anonymous posts in the last 2 weeks, all of which get projected into a thread conveniently referring to ratings and Channel 7, always using the same words: "erosion" "trend" and "falling" or "failing." I'm going to start calling this jealous freak the Erosion Trend guy. Be on the lookout!
What are you talking about? I don't think the post referring to KATV was related to the homo topic. BTW, there might be a couple of bi women on air at 7, but no lesbians, sorry.

Perfect... let me be the first to start this area.
Does anyone think all the internal strife at KARK is hurting the finished product?
This is also off-topic. Would Arkansas accept a homosexual reporter? Would it matter if they were male or female ?
Arkansans may not realize it, but they have accepted homosexual reporters.
Details! ^^^ let us guess.
Are they still working here? Male or female ?
I certainly hope no one would answer that question on this blog. That's just not right.
What's more important is... do the local stations care about that kind of stuff? I doubt it.

Funny this topic comes up and someone mentions KATV. Are you saying that the single female reporters/hosts might be lesbians?
Re: post above about single KATV female reporters

There is at least one gay male on air and KARK. There were to former KATV on air personalities there were gay. There is one at KTHV
I don't see it -- none of the reporters at KTHV seem to be gay, not even that Win Nobals.
Who cares.....if a reporter or anchor or weather caster is gay! It just doesn't matter.
I sure HOPE some of the hot females on television are lesbians... their rating would skyrocket if anyone knew !
Why is there a News Anchor position open at KATV? Who is leaving?
There isn't an opening
