BREAKING NEWS: ALMA Relocates to NE Arkansas
Read this story from KATV.com and figure what's wrong:
Authorities in northeast Arkansas are warning people against spreading false rumors concerning a well publicized missing girl.
Six-year-old Morgan Nick disappeared ten years ago from an Alma ballpark.
Police are now saying someone has been spreading rumors that the child has been found.
Police say that is not true and the case is still open.
1:15pm Seems the story has now been edited with the reference to NE Arkansas taken out.

This is what happens when you hire producers straight out of college with no experience for little to no pay.
Who cares? Jeez, some of you folk really have a huge chip of jealousy on your shoulders when it comes to KATV.
If I could, I would hop over to work at 7 any day of the week, and so would the rest of you saps. You only hate them because you can't be one of them.
I found this blog 4 days ago and can't believe the blatant over-trashing of one station. You just can't stand it that they're #1, can you? I'm over it, so why can't you be?
Whew, take a chill pill before you have a stroke! Maybe you should become KATV's official PR spokesman.
The second post on here is right.... people slam KATV out of jealousy. No station is perfect, but overall, KATV is the best in Arkansas.

KATV 'may be the best', YEAH RIGHT! if that's true, Arkansans deserve a whole lot better. There ain't NO reason KATV can't strive a little more to bring the viewers MORE NEWS FROM AROUND THE STATE, BETTER REPORTERS, AND A BETTER OVERALL NEWSCAST. They have become reliant on their loyal viewers to tune in, BUT they will soon find a new home. KATV can recruit good reporters, all it has to do is pay them a little extra like 7 does ned and paul.
This is no doubt a GREAT time for the others to take advantage of and really tweak their product and get it up to snuff and really kick some BUTT!!
I'm sure all the stations want to improve... KARK seems to be making some nice gains, especially at 5 p.m.

Speaking of KARK, I haven't seen ANY mention on this blog about how they're falling apart at the seams-- 2 GM's in two years, people leaving right and left, hiring, firing, etc. . . You know they decided they weren't going to pay for AP wire in their newsroom; how stupid is THAT?
Oh yea, change the subject and point the finger at someone else. Sounds like you're a politician.
Ha, ha, nope-- not a politician, just happen to agree with post #2 that no one here seems to know how to criticize any station other than KATV.
The public doesn't care what goes on behind the cameras.. they want some local news, lots of weather... and good-looking people to tell them about it. Sound shallow? Well, yeah, but it's true.
And who are the good-looking people at KARK?
KATV only has 1 or 2 "good-looking" personalities and they get the highest ratings.
Jancey Sheats, Melissa Simas, Katie Nielsen, Brandis Griffith, Brett Cummins, Bob Clausen.
Who are the good-looking people? This is all opiion, of course, but you might agree:
KARK -- Jancey and Melissa.
KATV -- Beth, Christina, Nicole, Jessica, Kate, Anne and Joan.
KTHV -- Becky, Melissa and Anne.
Fox -- Donna and Jennifer.
Why did I name all women? Duh !
Me I put NEWSCAST content before acting like a adolescent going through puberty and feeling the need to drool over 'ditzy blonds' trying to report the news. That must be the only qualification for getting on tv these days.
KARK seems to be doing good considering they're "falling apart at the seams" as you said. Ratings up big time at 5:00. The only station to gain ratings at 10:00. Lost points at 6:00, but not as much as 7 and 11. KARK's morning show also grew more than any other show, nearly surpassing Daybreak on 7. Yeah, I don't see anything KARK should really be worried about right now. Seems like they're moving in the right direction to me.
To the guy who puts NEWSCAST first... why watch television? Just take the state and your local paper.. and read them both from cover to cover. Much more content that way.
The local stations are fine... regardless of what is said in here. Even that little WB-42 newscast seems to be hanging on.
But you must admit, the "Crash and Burn Award" of 2005 must belong to DeeeeeWayne Graham.
I bet that Mr. Graham wishes he had played his cards differently. He had is all at one time, but foolishly threw is all away, for what??????? NOTHING.
Wonder if DeeeeeWayne will start co-hosting Pat Lynch's internet radio show? Both guys used to be very big, but, have fallen to the cellar of Little Rock media.
All of the News Stations are lacking to the viwers and the only thing they se is ratings,the quality and quanity is dow and so is viewership also and waht they need to do is revamp and start kicking ass from the top down and stop giving Arkansas Tabloid Tv Reformances.
