First Mike Jacques and now Josh Taylor. Wow.
^^^^^^^ that troll is always sleeping!!!!
Why even mention LeBron in this? Is this guy that well known? this is the first I've heard of him and from what I've read he seems pretty high on himself. Let the bashing (on me) begin.
They need to grab David Rath, and watch him own that station and make their sports bearable and watchable... That was the worst sports dept. I have ever seen they need a chsnge.
40/29 has completely jumped the shark, Just about everyone who works there is trying to leave. You're a station in a college sports town, in the only state in the US where it's college team is the most popular sports program in said state, and covering sports is "not a priority". Your competition has 5 people in sports. They've lost it.
I think Josh was kidding about the LaBron thing. It's called sarcasm. Nice to hear from David Rath's mom. Not sure what a chsnge is but Jacques and Taylor were two of the best especially covering high school sports. Having kids in high school, I know how passionate they are. I met them once on Friday night, both were shooting video that night.
Yeah, Josh is a friend of mine. That LeBron comment was purely sarcasm. He's a good dude, so is Jocko. So is Mark Lericos, so is John Laws. Says something that people keep leaving there I guess.
Somebody should ask those guys the real reason they left.
I pretty sure they didn't renew his contract because it is usually around this time when they decide whose contract to renew or let go and also two and half years to three years is about how long contracts last.. If he did decided to leave on his own he would not still be working at 40/29 after his facebook post and it would been back in the spring or early summer when most reporters make their own decision to leave before their contract is about to end and switch to another town.
That's not it. I'm told both Jocko and Josh left before there contracts were up. On purpose.
