Yawn.
Things seem to be settling in and going well at THV, and that's good news.
Now that we know colors, let's work on numbers....
"Hey honey, come look at this. THV got some new color coded thing"
"Do they still have the same horrible people there?"

Maybe they can get some "fly girls" to ope the show with a dance. "Everybody here is equally kind, everybody here is equally kind, what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine - In Living Color!"
Bhahahaah! Alyse would finally be qualified for a job at that station! She could be the lead fly girl!
Maybe if they have enough color coded stories on the screen I can mute the sound and just read it myself.
Is there a code for fishing with Liz? that way i know when to turn the channel.
Don't worry, Liz won't be around much longer.
I'll watch them "In Living Color" if Craig does the "Last Man on Earth" skit with all the girls.
I think they should bring back ms. ann jenson she did a good job and was a good anchor
It's a Gannett thing. Nothing to write home about. Most Gannett stations have transitioned to this graphics package. WXIA-11Alive was one of the most recent to do so.
How many meetings were spent on this awkwardness? If you have to explain the concept in a newscast ... it probably isn't a good idea in the first place.
I was looking on You Tube; even Channel 11's blooper reel is bad. How can you screw up a blooper reel?
Speaking of goofs, Chris Kane is at it again on KATV. Reading about the Pope this morning, he said "the pope is meeting with the faithful on the Vatican Piazza... make that Plaza, I'm sorry."
Italy is full of Piazza's Chris!
Add this to "Marine Corps" with a hard "p,", and pronouncing Rio DeJaneiro with a "h" sound for the "J" and we have ourselves a doofess trend.
Maybe they'll get Geranimals to be a sponsor.

KTHV launched their new graphics, etc. today (2/28/13) during their noon newscast.

Commenters on this blog have been saying this for about a year now and yet she's still there. Is everyone that thinks this so sure that it's a fact? Sorry, just had to put it out there and ask.
Regarding the colors, I don't really get it or what purpose it serves. The news reports, well, news, weather, sports and fluff stories. Why does the public need a 'system' for that?

Liz wasn't on tonight. Does that mean she has been moved to just the 10 pm show? Why did Dawn, Craig and Ed keep talking about practicing tonight at 9? What are they practicing.
It is all of those poor reporters and behind the scene folks that need to be practicing their skills.

That's what I've heard too.
The dog and pony show rolls on.
So, if a person is color blind and can't read I can see where they would just be S.O.L. as to finding out what is going on.
