Former KTHV Weekend Anchor Arrested

Well it looks as though we now know what has happened to Win Noble. THIS article from Arkansas Business.com says he was arrested Thursday on third-degree domestic battery. He is accused of striking his girlfriend.

ALSO the article confirms from KTHV execs that he is gone from the station. KTHV News Director Mark Raines confirmed his departure to AB.com and says, "“We’re still rotating several anchors through the anchor chair on the weekends, but we’ll get a replacement in their soon, though.”

Read the complete article HERE.

DANG! KTHV even is running a story about the incident.

Is anybody surprised? It's really just sad, sad, sad at this point. He needs help from his friends and family. Better yet, he needs to ACCEPT the help from his friends and family.

It is sad, but you shouldn't feel sorry for him. Win acts like a true sociopath, only pretending to have feelings when he thinks he has something to gain. He needs to be put behind bars, for our safety!

For sure that's Win at 7:29. anyway..
Win,
I know that you will read this, and I feel for you.
I just want to know what the hell is going on? How do you go from one of the best looking anchors on TV to this?
I totally understand the fighting/drinking, but the blog and beating on your girl?
Dude, your in the public eye? WHY? I really think Raines would have given you another chance. You should have went underground for a while, told your girl to shove off and changed everything.
Now what? even the political future is trashed. Times have changed at the Noble house. I hope you find Jesus, and he opens another door for you.
Good luck
don't listen to the scumbags on this site. they probally work at channel 7.

That 2:33 poster doesn't need to post again. It's a waste of everyone's time reading it. Win also needs to stop posting at 7:29am. Shouldn't you be getting ready to go job hunting, or will nobody in LR hire you now?

Win needs the help of a jail warden.

Notice that since his girlfriend left him, he hasn't gotten many pro comments. Hilarious!

Did you read the articles? It said he threw her to the ground multiple times, not out of the car.

You just proved my point.

At 5:53 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yeah, the last action mentioned was the throwing to the ground. Next, they say it happened numerous times. Had they meant any action other than the one most immediately mentioned, they would have referenced it more clearly. Are you a journalist of any sort? I hope not.

Since Mark Daines act's like Mr. Know it all why don't that Assho do Win's job and let the ND feel what is like to have pressure on him that will make him snap too and remember a job can cause pressure to affect one's personal life.

At 9:32 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i'm sure it can cause pressure but win hadn't been working for thv for quite a while when the recent incidents occurred.

At 9:33 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Let me preface this: I am not a fan of Win Noble, either as a professional or as a person.

Also, I was one of the happy anti-Win posters in the last wave of his bad luck--saying how much I thought he got what he deserved for doing something stupid like getting in a fight at a bar and/or posting what were quite offensive comments on his blog, both actions in violation of his employment contract. In fact, were this incident the first incident and KTHV were to fire him for being a part of it, I would back them 100% in their decision.

That said, what right do we have to take the place of an intricate legal system in determining who wins the he said she said war between Win and his little car-jumper? Is there any real evidence of what happened in the quoted news report above other than "Gillham told police" to support calling Win a woman-beater. I am a firm believer that if you are stupid enough to violate your ethics clause, you deserve to lose your job. However, if you check the way the criminal justice system works, it is very different from private law. A person is innocent until proven guilty.

For all we know (and there are sources out there that will tell you it is so) this girl is as crazy as Win is. So perhaps we should all refrain from passing judgment on either side, since in reality, we have nothing to base our decision on.

Oh, I get it. She's a ninja.

At 9:38 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

huh?

At 9:40 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

There are sources out there who will tell you anyone is crazy. This is the gossipiest town in which I've ever resided. Considering this is a gossip website, I think it should be expected that judgements are going to be passed on here, with or without warrant.

As for the situation, there were witnesses at the scene who verified the girl's story and not Win's. As I understand it, they called 911 because they were horrified at what they'd seen.

At 9:44 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yep. There's also evidence that Win has beaten up many of his girlfriends in the past. He threatened co-workers, acted violently many times, and has a general reputation for being a danger. I don't think it's any leap to make inferences about what probably happened. Besides, he was arrested and charged by the LR police. I have faith in them. It's not as if his girl pressed charges out of the blue. I don't think she would've had to press charges at all. This was in the hands of law enforcement.

At 9:54 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

So wait, what makes the sources that say she's crazy less reliable than all the ones saying he has beat up past girlfriends?

I'm just saying that most of you likely have reasons to not like Win other than this, as do I. But domestic violence is a really big deal, something that actually affects women and men's lives all over this country, who actually have to deal with being beaten, some of them every day. It is not something to be thrown around lightly, that's all I'm trying to say.

At 9:58 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I'm putting my trust in the police reports and evidence of past abuse, not the gossiping of that girl's ex-boyfriends or whatever.

At 10:01 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

We also know he was recently released from a mental institution. He was admitted against his will. He has been posting about wanting to kill co-workers and stand over them in a pool of their own blood. As far as character goes, I don't think Noble stands a chance in court. Even still, will that prove whether or not he REALLY did anything? No. The courts make decisions just like we are doing on this blog site. I'm sure many have been wrongly convicted, just as many have gotten away with murder. Please quit acting all high and mighty. You're just a person, just like the rest of us, making judgements.

At 10:13 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I didn't write any of that, but I think it was pretty stupid of you to post something you should know will get censored. They delete the cussing comments!

By the way, Liz looks great with her hair pulled back. Keep it up, girl!

maybe you could learn how to use quotes correctly and get a life. why are you posting things on a blog website on a friday night? i am at work. i have no choice in the matter. even worse, why would you post things that you knew would get deleted? wow.

Has anyone read the comments on the other blog website? Pretty funny.

At 10:31 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

One might post things one knows will get deleted because one does not give a shit about creating a historical document that must be preserved, sans cussing, for the future.

Quotes? Really? I love how folks attack grammar and such on this site all the time, it must be that it's a lot of half-rate (i.e. work in Arkansas news) journalists. Would you enlighten me: is it really just a knee-jerk reaction when one doesn't have anything of substance to say in response to something of substance said about them?

about the grammar, misquoting someone is actually more than just a tiny mistake.

At 10:40 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

preserved as a historical document? for all you knew, if the moderator had been looking like he's supposed to, it would've been deleted immediately; therefore, no one but you would've had the pleasure of reading it. get a clue. did you respond just to amuse yourself? why don't you start keeping a diary or something?

more than a tiny mistake? is it? on an arkansas news blog? really?

You gotta learn me on this stuff, mistah, I'm so darned slow!!

p.s. I didn't write the "earn your keep" (sorry, quoting from memory again, it may be off) post. Looks like I'm not alone in laughing at you, buddy.

p.p.s. I write these things to amuse myself watching people like you squirm trying to keep up. It's fun!

ARE THESE POSTERS ATTEMPTING TO DRAW ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE REAL ISSUES AT HAND? HEY THERE, WIN. IT'S GOOD TO KNOW YOU STILL GET ON THE COMPUTER.

BACK TO THE TOPIC ... WIN WASN'T GOOD; PEOPLE DIDN'T LIKE HIM; AND NOW HE'S OFFICIALLY GONE. WEREN'T WE WAITING TO HEAR THAT NEWS?! YEA! THE BIG QUESTION IS: WHO GETS HIS SPOT? ANY LEADS ON THAT??

Win Noble was awful. I hope they get some extra security down at the station. He wrote about what he was capable of doing to them in his blogs, and now he's been caught by the police in NUMEROUS violent activities within the past month. I hope everyone at THV owns a gun!

At 10:58 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Luckily for me, I'm not in the "news business." I am following this blog because honestly, this story is the most white trash thing I think I've ever heard, and it's pretty funny, you all have to admit that right? I mean, girl jumping on the hood of a car and then hollering about battered women and such, guy getting fired for his myspace blog. It's like a soap opera for the whole world to enjoy.

By the way, you did it again, the whole avoiding the question thing... nothing of substance to say... remember that?

Oh well.

At 11:05 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

How do you find it okay to believe what you've heard about her jumping on a car, while criticizing others for judging Win before the story is heard in court?

At 11:07 PM, May 19, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

The fact that the 10:58 poster gets so much enjoyment out of an issue which doesn't even pertain to his life ... so much so that he is willing to stay in on a Friday night and post numerous comments on a blog website ... is just sad and sick. It's not like the chick is pressing charges ... the city/state/county (whoever wrote up the ticket) is.

"Birds of a feather flock together?" Wow. If we should live by that philosophy, our legal system needs to be completely reconfigured!

Most criminals have family members, significant others, and friends. Why don't we herd them all into jail when we arrest one of them?

What did you have to say about Laci Peterson? Nicole Simpson?

I believe you need to rethink your perception of criminal activity, considering the majority of assault victims were involved in some sort relationship with their perpetrator.
