KLRT on the Hunt for a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter
Looks as though KLRT is on the hunt for a Full-Time Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. Since I don't receive KLRT down in LA ( Lower Arkansas) I don't know much about 16's news operation to know if this a new position or a replacement.

maybe Keely Fulton should go. She does nothing constructive at KARK. They need to ditch her and just keep the Hog Nation !

What's wrong with Justin Holgate? He kicked ass when he was in Tulsa at the Fox station there. Seems to me this operation either doesn't give him the tools to do his job, or doesn't want to put any money in the product. Par for course for cheep channel.
I'd rather not commit career suicide and go to Fox...I'm quite fine where I am.
What kind of money do you think Justin was making at Fox?
Hey, it was Cheap Channel, he wasn't getting paid very much.
I heard back in the summer he was going to apply with the LRPD because he was ready to try something different.
Since Craig O'Neil's gig is getting old at KTHV, maybe he should consider the opening. It's not like he can ask a serious pressing issue when it comes to sports.
Craig is great! Or perhaps you would prefer the usual group of suspects and "so called journalists" like Mark Rushing.
Sports is part entertainment, and Craig O'Neill belongs at the anchor desk.
The problem is that you have Craig giving hard news at 5:00p, every promo the station has on air, sports with no substance -- just what does he do? Sports? News? Promo's? -- you're wearing him out because he's all you have - Viewers don't want to see a comedian giving hard news - there is a big credibility issue.
I wrote the earlier post defending Craig, but you do speak some truth. You can stretch someone too many places.
KLRT can find a new guy if he can work for $25,000 a year and work 60+ hours a week.
Keely just sits there and reads a little... sometimes wears that STUPID long hairpiece. I wonder what else of hers is fake ?

I got a call from a headhunter about this job last week. LR is my hometown and I don't even want to go to 16!
