KSLA Makes Changes in the AM
KSLA, Channel 12 has moved around and made changes to its morning program. Longtime KSLA meteorologist Ed Duranczyk has been moved to weekends while known Ark-La-Tex meteorologist Ron Young has been moved to weekday mornings with KSLA newcomer Najahe Hall anchoring the news. Which leaves me to ask what happened to the former 2 news anchors that were on with Duranczyk?UPDATE: 8:25pm A blog reader says Carolyn Roy is on maternity leave.

I have watched the Shreveport AM shows, and believe it ore not....KTAL's Morning program is friendly and the Best. Shannon Slatton and Rustin Duke are very good together. Maybe that has something to do with it?
Actually I don't think Newschannel 6 had anything to do with it. It might be that Channel 12's and Channel 6's morning show numbers combined don't come close to Channel 3.
Numbers, your right....Talent, your wrong. Switch talent at each shop and the numbers at 3 would go up. 6 has 12 beat in the mornings. and Ed Walsh isn't good.
ed walsh is terrible. but sonja bailes is ktbs' saving grace in the morning, and the reason for their steady success. shannon slatton is very likable too and is helping ktal make up some ground.

After all the buzz about Najahe Hall I finally woke up early to watch the morning show. I have to say, it was excellent. Najahe is so comfortable on the desk, she looks great and reads the news with so much energy. You can tell she really enjoys her job. It's my guess though she will not be here for long. She probally has her eyes set on bigger markets.
So, I do not really imagine this is likely to have success.
This will not work as a matter of fact, that is what I believe.
