Where are they now will return in a few days. I am working two jobs to help make ends meet. My second job is in retail and we are getting ready for the 'After Thanksgiving Day Sale'.

Where is Stanley Knox... that alleged trash-talking, gay porn distributing DJ who spewed hatred and smut over TV and radio a few years ago? By the way, I think his real name is Michael Hall.
Stanley Knox? Who cares? this closeted freak had no talent other than pissing people off. I can't think of a great good to media outside of his ousting. The Buzz did LR a public service.

Maybe a little thread drift here but....
When was the last time the Dem-Gaz's meadia columist ever done a local story. Really, with the comming Nexstar/Comcast war, the Duddy Wallerish attitude toward HDTV in Little Rock, and the overall decline in local news (even KARK at times looks better or is it because of everyone getting worse). But what does MS do? Nothing but write about the latest media convention he gets paid to visit. Sounds like Wally Hall and his coverage of Pikes Peak a few years ago.
Is there a co-ed league other than the ML? I'm from out of state and have been here for 5 years and am used to playing competitive co-ed softball and haven't been able to find a league.
Any suggestions?

Having Got Paper? in the league is like the Hogs scheduling all directional schools for an entire season. Like a bunch of old guys getting off on being superior. Find a competitive league, dudes.
Lil' Joe kinda reminded me of Marc WHINEBerg in terms of his temper. Both those guys need to go out and pump themselves.
Yeah we may have the stacked team and the others can cry all they want but I've seen a few of the other co=ed's and glad to see there female players are also Stacked.
Ch.11 definitley has the cry babies in this league,Hopefully this league will continue and the they can all read the Headlines in the newspaper.

I'm 6'5'',245lbs ex-college and semi pro athlete still can run a 4.8 and i have no job,but i do know my second cousin's girlfriend who knows my aunt and she said she was a subscriber to the Democrat.

I think this thread is missing the point in regards to a softball legue this year. Unless someone steps up and pays for this league to continue, it's dead in the water. Otherwise each softball team will have to fork over between 350 to 400 plus money for trophys, tournament and other misc things. The cost last year was about 3,500.00 (based on 10 teams) Unfortunately, last year some promises were not kept by certain media teams in terms of publicity, so last years sponsor is not going to sponsor this year. I'll tell you it wasn't TJ's team that didin't keep its end of the bargain. Tom handled the league and encouraged everyone to at least promote that it was the Golden Corrall Media League and to thank Mr. Staats. Tom was even a patron at the restaurant! It's a shame that there are teams that play but offer no assistance at all in promoting the league. Tom Jones' Dem-Gaz team may crush every team out there, but at least he steps up and does his fair share to help keep it going.

Will not be able to read anything about the ML in the paper because Wally will not allow it. At the beginning of the season, when asked if we could have the standings on the back page of the paper, Wally didn't think it worthy enough.

I'm pretty sure teams in other leagues have to pay. Why should the ML be any different? $350 bucks is not that much about 30 bucks a head more or less depending on the total number of players on your team.
I'm thinking that Paula left KARK late 1999/early 2000 - somewhere in that neighborhood.

Mike Francis is by FAR the worst on-air person in this market. He's just goofy.. and I don't mean that in a good way. He would be better off borrowing Gary's old Bozo outfit and entertaining kids at birthday parties.
I just saw on-line that Karen Fuller had resigned from KCTV5 in Kansas City. Does anyone have any info on where she is going or what she will do?
