Today we feature former Little Rock anchor Vickie Newton.Vickie is a well-known face to viewers in many different cities. She has worked as an anchor for CNN Headline News, reporting from the network's world headquarters in Atlanta. Also in Atlanta, Vickie was an Anchor/Reporter at WSB-TV, the city's #1 news station. Previously, Vickie worked at WDIV in Detroit, KMBC and WDAF in Kansas City, and KATV in Little Rock, Ark.
What is Vickie doing now? Vickie joined KMOV Channel 4 in January 2002 as an Anchor/Reporter for "News 4 St. Louis" at 5 and 10 p.m. weekdays with Larry Conners.

She's what all these reporter chicks in Little Rock want to be... but very few ever will. There are only a few reporters in this market with the potential to advance.
There are several really good in Little Rock... Kate and Beth at KATV... Jancey and Melissa at KARK... Melissa at KTHV... nobody at the WB... and Donna at Fox.
What about me? What about Win? Am I not bigger market material?

why does everyone make fun of win. He is at least as good as what comes from capitol city Jr. college. (the college that cares).
The spx guy at fox does his show early so he can make his bed time at 10. Also, fox can't fill a full prime sched. They call theirs "pure prime" Next they'll have extra virgin prime.
I believe Fayetteville is now accredited!
Lots of idiots smoked and drank their way through college.. and are now in TV just because of decent looks and a willingness to work long hours for little pay.
Win might make it in San Francisco.. doing weather on the beach.
believe Fayetteville does NOT have a Radio-TV Department. Journalism Dept.? Yes . . . and so does ASU and BOTH are accredited! Facts! Just the facts!
