Surprised he stuck around this long. He's a good guy too. Best of luck!

This is a huge loss. I only get my weather updates from his Twitter and FB posts.

Does anyone know the real story? Seems strange to leave a pretty good morning gig for weekends in Cleveland.

Cleveland is a far bigger market.

That's a great jump and if you dig deeper it says the Chief is getting up in age. Sounds great for Greg.

After kark fired Bret Cummings for his scandal . Everyone thought Gregg Dee would become chief met for kark since he has been there for a while only to hire somebody else outside the company. That must still bother him .

Has anyone put Michelle Rupp on suicide watch?

11:54. WKYC is the NBC affiliate in Cleveland. Betsy Kling, their chief met is going on maternity leave to care for her second child. She helped me on a project last year. She has an interesting interview on YouTube as part of their station's Intern Chronicles. She also has an interesting video about lake effect snow. WJW is the Cleveland station with Dick Goddard, who is 83 and close to retirement. Andre Bernier is doing two-person weathercasts with Goddard. Goddard has been one of the most popular local meteorologists in the United States and worked with Dick Clark.

It just sounds too much like kark where Greg was weekend weather met and the two ahead of him one leaving for Atlanta and the other fired .That would lead to assumptions that he would be promoted to chief met and that did not happen. So don't assume he will be promoted to chief met when the older guy at Cleveland retires .

Will he still say "Nune" and "Afternune" up there?

What's up with that "morning juice" junk on KATV? Are they unaware we can "see what's trending" just by logging in to twitter?

9:12, especially when he and Greg are at two different Cleveland stations.

The "Morning Juice" is hard to watch.

He didn't want the Chief job here

"the morning juice" is just dumb. Take that ugly girl off, please, she cannot even get through a segment without some awkward pauses and flubs.

"Deathstar" Broadcasting likes station conglomerates.

They operate both the KARK and KLRT news departments/stations. Along with KASN and KARZ.

4 was enough.

Ridiculous...
