The Weather Garden set looks like a double-wide that has been cut into and being re-possessed.

The weather garden shack is half-a-double wide trailer. If we have tornado weather strike downtown, we will get to see it shredded in much the same manner as other manufactured homes in this state.
Looks like it has already been through a tornado or two.
But, hey, apparently management loves it. Does their management ever watch any of the local programs?
I think Alyse did a great job reading the news and co-hosting this morning.
Totally unrelated-Clicked on KARK website to see whats going on in the news and got a Hank's commercial blaring at me,couldn't click off of their site quick enough.Thanks KARK for directing me somewhere else to get my news.Annoying!
Sounds like a Baseball trade.... in the deal 11 sends Nick, Kenny, Alyson, Katherina and Larry K to KATV for Lauren S. I'm sure this has everything to do with money. The mentioned above were all DENIED pay raises by 11 so they went to where the grass was greener - 7. Don't really know what Lauren was thinking.
Lauren is a reporter not on the morning show. Looks like she's pulling weekends.
KATV wouldnt let her report. Guess that means THV will have her anchor tomorrow.lol.
All the above didnt leave just for the money, hang with one of them and hear and see how much happier they are. Thats a lot to say for them going to a station with tech difficulty but no regrets for them. Plus kat paid her do's mmjing.

She brought her husband to the station her first week.
Surely you don't base your standards off of bringing a spouse to work. Doesn't another 11 reporter bring his flavor of the week in on the weekends to just hang out? Seems like it's the norm.
Lauren moved to channel 11 because she had a better offer than what she had at 7. When you start a new job don't you usually want your spouse to see where you will be so he can relate during conversation? It's a simple concept to understand why she got a new job-better offer or for those who still do not understand, more air time. 7 gave her weekends and 11 is giving her time during the whole week. There now the concern as to why Lauren got a new job is explained.
Yes all of the above left for more money. Incuding Charley, Kat, Larry, Nick, Alyson etc, etc. More pay was the common denominator. That and Nick got a promotion. They left because Larry A. wouldn't pay them to stay. They certainly wouldn't leave for less money.
I would rather watch Lauren than most of the other female reporters at thv. It will be interesting to see the changes that take place when the new GM takes an assessment. I will keep my predictions to myself.
Unrelated: KATV’s Heather Crawford’s post baby body looks awesome. Saw her at a WM3 story. Looked like she has never had one kid much less a toddler and newborn. Props to Alyson with KATV and Jancey with KARK too. I’m sure Christina will bounce back after baby number two like she did with the first one.
Kudos to all the lovely female anchors who have taken pride in their appearance after having children.

Thv has become a stepping stone. I remember it used to be the place to go.
Buff body. YES!! Hate the mousy blonde shaggy choppy haircut that is looks like. A third grader cut it. Heather is good but the hair needs work!
Who saw Alyson with the cheerleaders this morning? Looks like she could still fit in one of the uniforms!! Melinda can't be to happy about that!!

You clearly don't know Lauren at all. She's never been to Disney with RD nor anywhere else for that matter
you must have Lauren confused with someone else she was a hard worker and never took any trips with her former boss, she found a good opportunity and went with it good for her.
im sure she would have had opportunities if she stayed at 7. She was getting to be on the air. Im sure they planned to make her a reporter once she paid her dos and got a bit more polished.
Now shes going to have to learn to shoot, edit and travel to who knows where alone.
From the outside looking in I dont think it was a smart decision.
Whether someone is a loss is an opinion. An anchor is always a loss and can harm the stable image.
Reporters in general arent a loss because they dont get much air time, theyre not expected to stick around and thats why they dont get promos and so on. I can tell you the reason why some of katherinas former coworker miss her is because she was dependable, helpful and humble. Things hard to come by nowadays. Both stations must like her alright because shes was the nightside reporter at thv and now katv. I DVR thv or katv, the one I dont watch and shes always off the top.
Will somebody please make bj weekend anchor and make pam baccum a reporter.
I cant watch anymore. She talks out of the side of her mouth and it makes her words come out... I just cant listen to her.
She is one 'anchor' (if you want to call her that) thay wouldnt be a loss.

i work at 11. lauren scott seems nice and is really trying. i'm sure she'll fit in just fine. i'm choosing NOT to listen to this blog gossip and decide for myself if she's a good worker or not.

That is so stupid; Tom is out Alyse is in. Are you kidding? Viewers would have a fit!!!!!!! She has lots to learn before that happens That would be a foolish way to try and save money.

Pam Baccam is anchoring. OBVIOUSLY the mangers at THV don't care if the "viewers will have a fit".
Im a kark4 watcher. I am curious about the 'green' reporter constantly mentioned on here so I tried to watch todays thv.
The reporter was Lisa Hutson? Does she wear a retainer while on the air? That's what she sounds like, I had to change the channel.
I loved Craig on the air, but he only has a face for radio. Can't watch him or take him seriously.
I mean I loved craig on the radio air.
He tries to make everything he does or says funny. It's aint.
Also, when he interviews someone he asked a question and then he steps back and it looks like he turns away from them. Why? Is that a comedy routine?
Tom has a year left on his contract, they have already offered him a new one, so looks like they want to keep him. However, at THV looks can be deceiving.
Last I knew alyse eady wasnt a met. Shed more than likely take the 'lead' spotlight of ashley blackstone
It's funny somebody said Allison looks happy at 7. I don't watch much, but I was thinking just the opposite. She looks way more tired and unhappy to me. But- we all observe things differently.
So Lauren was just a PA over at 7 before moving to 11?
Sorry, I won't be watching Lauaren and THV, I will be watching Beth Hunt on KATV and Kelly Dudzik on KLRT!!!
If Lauren Scott is new to the business, I'm sorry but how old is she.
She looks like she lives in a tanning bed.
She looks older than the current young reports who have been on for several years.
She also sounds real mousy. Who wants their news from someone scared to tell it to you
Lauren Scott is doing a good job at THV. She will be much more accepted than some of the other reporters at that station.
I don't think THV is saving money with Alyse. She is being paid very well.
And she is also gathering viewers. This lady will have a place on network television before long if she wants it. Looks, brains and a great personality.
It is an absolute joy watching Ashley and Alise in the mornings. They always look put-together, have beautiful smiles, and seem to always be having a great time. And Lauren will do well with 11.
Somebody tell me what the heck THV is doing at six now? That has to be the most boring news format. Sorry, I'm trying to remain with you guys. But, the quality is really, really slipping.

Really? I like the new show format. Yes, their reporting quality has slipped with all the MMJs, but I like the format of the show. Very different from what the other stations are doing.
THV needs a lot of changes in the evening if they are going to stay in the game.
Is Craig doing "Mom's Like Me" now?
Maybe the new boss will look at the beating THV is taking on their facebook page. Ouch.

Todaya THV 6pm line up is sure to get viewers to switch channels if its always like what I saw one day this week.
They spent 6 minutes on the top story and channel 4 was wrapping up the top block.
Boo THV. Yawn.
After 1.5 minutes a story will tend to start putting most viewers to sleep unless it's a major event.

They switch if you have boring anchors also like Craig and Liz. Get Dawn some real help !!!!!

Has Craig ever had a serious moment. He is so hard to take seriously as silly as he acts when he is on camera. Always looking in the monitor to see if he is on then making a funny face or wave goodbye to the viewers. So cheesy.

Why do i find allyson courtney so unwatchable on KATV? When she reads the news she looks like a chicken pecking the ground and she just doesn't fit in with all the dull co workers she shares the camera with. She's so full of energy while barry..melinda and all the others that have been rotating in and out off the program seem so asleep. maybe she needs to share her wake up medicine with the rest of them!
Then who has an axe to grind with Liz and Craig?
Craig is a great "TV Personality" - not so sure he's a great "News Anchor". There is a difference.
Liz is a reader. Compare her with dawn s and christina m. The other women pull you in and make you listen.
Liz prides herself on how fast she reads. If you ever listen to her on thv2 shell say things like, hope I gained more time for the producer or that felt like a record.
She needs to watch it because her looks are quickly going too.

So this is in regard to another comment that was left here regarding someone taking their spouse to work...Who is the other "reporter" that takes his flavor of the week to work?....That's crazy!!!! They would get in trouble for that you would think!
