Things Are Turning Over In Jonesboro
This from the tip box:
Tons of turnover at KAIT. Multiple AP award winner Bob Snell is leaving in September. Meteorologist Justin Logan left this week to Columbus, GA. This comes after nightside anchor Lauren Payne left the station a few weeks ago.

This is typical when a new company takes over, When Nexstar took over KTAL in 2000 they fired all but one of the on air talent.
Who bought KAIT?
raycom media based in birmingham, ala. parent company of wmc-tv memphis does owned and
operated kait.
I am aware of no new company that has taken over KAIT. Raycom has owned them for at least 5 years that I know of. Perhaps longer.
I use to work for Raycom and they were decent company to work for. Of course it all depends on the local management. Raycom was a much better company to work for then the company I currently work for.
NONE of the three staffers mentioned in this blog post were fired. NONE. All three left for other opportunities.
Can anyone blame those people for wanting to leave Jonesboro, the entire town is completly insane!
Infact, Jonesboro does not need a news station the people of town can spread lies and innuendos very well without the help of a news bureau.
Snap! You got that right.
Where did Lauren Payne go?
"NONE of the three staffers mentioned in this blog post were fired. NONE. All three left for other opportunities."
I don't think the post said anything about them being fired. No one is smearing your good name Lauren!
Thanks for this post, pretty effective piece of writing.
I don't know why everybody is leaving the channel. I hope that it is because they got a better job in another channel.
