KAIT Gets New GM
An insider sent Arkansas TV News a copy of the e-mail naming the new General Manger of KAIT:
Tim Ingram has been selected by Raycom to become the new general manager of KAIT in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This decision is an honorable acknowledgement of what KLTV offers the leadership of this company. More importantly it is yet another example of what clear individual goals backed by tenacious hard work can yield for anyone here dedicated to a career in this industry.
Tim made it clear from the first day he arrived at KLTV that he wanted to become a general manager and he wanted the job at KAIT. He has evolved into a leader and a manager. But I don’t have to tell you that as most of you have experienced his sincere interest in creating opportunities for you to build your professional experience and make this station better.
My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Tim as he begins the new journey and the return to home.
Tim’s last day here will be sometime the week of June 11th.

Wonder who he will fire first? GMs always have to put their stamp on things.
Better not fire Diana Davis!
Is this the same Tim Ingram who graduated from Arkansas State and worked in Louisville?
he can fire the news director. he needs to go.
Director Tim? Shoney's Big Boy Tim?
Is this the same Tim Ingram that worked at KAIT in the late 1980's or early 1990's? Former Region 8'ers are dying to know.
Yes, it is the same Tim Ingram that worked at K8 years ago... and the same Tim Ingram that worked in Louisville at WAVE.
Well, I'll be damned.
The current operations manager can finally retire since one of his products has now jumped over him to be the boss.
Dear Mr. Ingram,
Please, for God's sake, get rid of the set (which has been there since 1996).
Thank you.
Congrats Tim!!! Wow - I can't believe my former roommate is now a big timer! Awesome.
Get rid of the set. Make the morning weather guy stop dressing like a pimp. More of that brunette morning girl and less of the blonde!
Blair,
Where are you these days? Still in NWArkansas?
Way to go Tim. Welcome back to Region 8.
He'd better address the audio problems the station is having. There are at least 2-3 packages in each newscast where only one channel can be heard. Are viewers supposed to be mind readers? What a joke!
To the above poster: The audio problems are due to switching to a new editing system, they're still trying to get the bugs worked out.
What is wrong with Diana's left eye? It looks lazy or like she's had a stroke. I'm just concerned as I'm sure many viewers are because others have noticed this as well.
