Hey, just like it used to be back in the day of real broadcasters. KARK AM FM TV.
I think that radio staions who align themselves with TV stations are taking a risk. People have their preferences on TV News and Weather. I stopped listening to The Point because of Tom Brannon doing Weather updates in the morning.

yeah I agree with 9:18, that's really dumb, I still listen to The Point. What other classic rock station is there? There's not one! By the way what station is KARN? Never heard of it
I think TV stations that align themselves with candidates are really dumb. I quit watching KATV in 2000 when they endorsed Bush.

You folks in Little Rock don't know how fortunate you are to have KARN. Yes I know, they may not be the greatest, but it beats Northwest Arkansas.
We don't have anything in the way of a news/talker that does any substantive local news.

The comment from 7:44 is ridiculous...usually TV/Radio partnerships are symbiotic and simply a way for both to get their name out there a few more times.
Are you going to quit watching the Travelers because THV is doing weather at the ballpark?

while it's true that the weather's new, KARN has been using cuts from KARK casts for quite some time now--maybe a few months or so
This further symbolizes the pathetic state of local radio in central Arkansas (and nationwide as well). kaRn is doing this as a cost-saving measure, guess they are not billing enough with the right-Wing Wall of talk (Limbaugh, Hannity, the local Dave Elswick, that guy in the morning whoever he is).
