This from a tipster: "Sources are telling me that since Amy Oliver Barnes is now teaching classes at UALR and left her post as the public information for the college, Andy Pearson and Mark Raines have applied for the position."

Mark? Yeah, I believe that one but he's got his app in at MickeyDs to be the "fryboy" also. No talent, huge inferiority complex and not liked by coworkers spells desperate.
Andy? Nah. I still don't believe he's leaving but if he is he and his talent will be much desired by many. I couldn't blame him with all the bs he's had to put up with from thv in the past and present but can't see him being someone's b****. He's too much his own man for that one.
Mark on the other hand....is he really even a man? We know not from one viewpoint. I wonder from the biological one.
9:23, it's been in the paper about three times that Barnes has started teaching.

Based on the posts that I have read on this blog, I don't understand why anybody would want to work in this industry. While reading the ramblings of disgruntled employees and co-workers makes for some interesting reading on occasion, there appear to be some truly classless individuals in the broadcast biz. It must really be fun to get up every morning and wonder what hateful rumors and lies the person in the next cubicle has been writing. While it makes for amusing reading, it also indicates a really pitiful lack of professionalism from folks who seem to think so highly of themselves.
well said on that last post! we all could use a lesson in humanity from time to time.
Please don't think all news people are the same as the juvenile posters on this blog. The vast majority of them are decent hard working people with nothing but respect for each other. The people who post here are probably nothing more than behind the scenes people who think they are underpaid and overworked and can't figure out why they haven't been moved up to a position they deserve. They have nothing better to do than sit around and stir the pot to make themselves feel more important then they really are.
Jealousy can be a very ugly thing.
Well said 2:50 PM. You make valid points and I should be careful not to paint the entire industry with one brush; however, the majority of the posts were what led me to reach that conclusion. There sure is a large volume of ugly and hateful posts here. How's about some of you quality folks posting....?
