THV's New Star

There's a creature living in Today's THV's garden and no it's not Craig O'neal. It seems for the past several months a cat has been calling THV's Weather Garden home and everyone at the station has adopted it. The cat's name is Larry and has apparently made several on air appearances. You can read all about the story behind how Larry came to live in the Weather Garden HERE.

But this just makes me wonder if this is what prompted another Little Rock station to adopt a pet last month. Hmmmmmmmm.....

Larry is precious! Thanks to KTHV for being so kind to this homeless cat.
Even though we don't see Katy much, at least she has a safe environment and loving people around her at their station, and she isn't in a cage anymore. It's great that they adopted a dog and have promoted the Humane Society.
It's also great that KTHV has promoted the FURR organization, too.
Kudos to both of these stations!

Animal shelters are a huge waste of money... it's more efficient to just kill strays. Then, the money could be spent on making human life better.

Word on the street is KAT will have to get rid of KATY. Apparently the smell of poop and pee in the newsroom is getting really bad.

So this is what it has come to.. KATV gets a dog and KTHV gets a cat. Maybe KARK will get a bird.. no wait.. maybe a pony!

KTHV adoptd the cat long before KATV got the dog. That's how it goes in the Rock. KTHV does something new, funny, interesting, whatever and KATV follows about 2 months later. That's what it takes to be Arkansas' News Leader.

I'd love to see Larry and Katy in a battle to the death... now THAT would get ratings. And then for a follow-up... the dead animal could be used in a cooking segment.

Seems like someone on here is an animal hater. I think we should take the person or persons who wrote the two violent posts & kill them. That would do a lot to make human life a lot better. I say instead of killing animals, we kill off all jerks like that.
