I'm guessing you didn't know that's what Joshua Cole was before his 'promotion'. They think since they have "EXCLUSIVE" traffic they need an anchor. I view it as rearranging the chairs on the Titanic. It doesn't matter who they put where, the product won't improve. Wise can barely read a prompter while Cole's constant smile freaks me out.

Whoever wins the billion POWERBALL, could they please spend some money and fix Paige and Daniel?

I don't think Paige needs any fixing.

Really? How about the constant "and" between stories? They aren't related in any possible way, yet she continues to say it between every story. And can somebody please fix her damn eyes? She looks more and more freaking Chinese every time I watch.

I think that there are little things here and there that could be adjusted, but with that, let us try to do a segment or job 'live' on camera without messing up or anything out of perfection. One thing that has been noticed by several is the people moving around, switching roles and/or shows. As viewers its easier to follow a show with consistency and order and getting our "trust" to watch. It would be confusing (or even conflicting) to follow a meteorologist at one time and then they are shuffled/replaced by someone new during a severe storm, and we haven't gained their trust in judgment. It is best for consumers to depend on structure with media/news because at the end of the day these are the people that we look to for outside resources of update and knowledge. Like the phrase "Don't mess up a good thing."

Don't mess up a good thing.

It's too late for that advice. The great talent that's left - a director, a floor crew, a chief met, three anchors, a sports team, a reporter - and this is what happens. It's the way Hearst runs the company - Do more with less. Why hire a weekend anchor when you can have your main anchors cover?

One would think those who've moved on would let go, but some people are just so resentful and full of hate. It appears it wasn't their job or city making them so miserable after all. I hope you're able to find peace.

When you hire idiots who don't know how to do their job? And you let great talent go, even though they'd come back and fix the problems? Not hate at all.

If they would hire the great talent that is available and get rid of some of the dead weight, then yes some of us could find that peace.

There is not a television announcer in this market that could do a one-minute, live spot without cue cards or teleprompter.

Car salesperson or siding salesperson, yes, but announcer no.

Talent is no longer present like it was, say, 40 or even 30 years ago. Sad.

Yesterday, Laura Huckabee said the River Valley would get significant snow overnight. Funny, no other met in the market said any such a thing. In fact, other mets said they would be surprised if the area got even a light dusting. This morning, Laura told us we "dodged a bullet." No, Laura, you just can't read models worth a shit and come up with an accurate forecast. Worry more about getting the forecast right and less about sticking your tits out.

When I was in the Fort some years ago the meteorologists said the ice would stay far south of Fort Smith. Of course we got about two inches of Ice by the 10 pm broadcast lol

Out of the AM mets Heidi Waggoner is gets my vote. I like her.

Heidi is going to move up quickly.

As for Laura, she's not that great at putting together forecasts. She's too focused on her side businesses.

What are her side businesses?

Selling whatever cream I see her posting about on FB, or being too focused on all of the other stations that she does weather for.
