Long Time KATV Anchor Leaving

Long time KATV/Channel 7/Little Rock anchor Scott Inman is leaving the station.   Arkansas Online reports the more than 15 year KATV veteran is leaving the anchor desk early next year to join GenWealth Financial Advisors as director of business development.  "This was a very difficult decision," Inman said of his leave from KATV. "I am truly humbled by the trust KATV viewers have placed in me over the years, and know that they will continue to trust KATV for their news, weather and sports."

Inman joined KATV in 1999 as weekend sports anchor.  In 2003 he joined the news desk, co-anchoring the 5pm, 6pm and 10pm newscasts.

KATV said in a statement on its website that Inman has decided to leave to "pursue other interests and to spend more time with his family."
