Former Little Rock Anchor Moves to the ArkLaTex

Stefanie Bryant has been named the new morning co-anchor at KTAL/Channel 6/Shreveport.  The former KTHV/Channel 11 anchor left the Little Rock airwaves back in August 2013.  Bryant fills the spot formerly held by Leslie Draffin who left Shreveport for Oklahoma City's Fox 25.

Sorry for you. You are not alone. Things are just as bad here. If you have any other anchors or reporters you care to send this way please feel free. We will gladly accept them.

I to am a KSLA and KTBS escapee. I discovered Stephanie this morning and I liked her. Looks like I have a new morning show station that does not get on my nerves lie 12 and 3.

She looks like a solid anchor.

I like Stephanie. Unfortunately she'll most likely move on after her two years are up. That seems to be standard practice now.

She looks a lot different than the anchors on KTBS Three.

How bad can KTHV be? KTAL is by far the worst place to work in all of TV. I dare anyone who has worked there to say otherwise. All I ever here is, "It's a lot better than it used to be." Well it used to be Scott Thomas & his coffee. VOMIT!
Stephine Bryant is a worker, and that place is full of dog waste. I wish her the best!

Round and round and round they go. Reporters should be classified as "Transit" and most never spend enough time in one spot to draw any retirement when the time comes. Hope you think you can live on your Social Security. Get out while you are young.

KTAL is the second worst station I worked in 18 years of broadcasting. KMSS is hands down the worst. You can feel it just walking in the building. Now they're about to merge. God help us!

KTAL wasn't always that bad. Things were starting to improve when Dan Bates was GM and Andy Pontz was ND, Once Screening Scotty took over, and Blake kept micromanaging the station first from Fayetteville, then from corporate, it all went to hell, and the station regressed to pre-Deathstar days.

The newscasts look great now. It looks 100% better then when I worked there. Still hate the bump out shots of the control room, and studio cameras and PA's. That's always looked stupid no matter what station or network thinks it's cool. Hopefully things at KTAL really have gotten better. God knows they couldn't get any worse. Been there. Done that.

Good luck, Stef. But get out ASAP. YOU will be great for awhile, and then the KTAL/Deathstar walking dead will drag you down.

Bet you a $1 she won't stay past her 2 year contract.

Even at a dollar that's a loosing bet.

Spot on 2:18 PM. KTAL couldn't get any lower, and had no place to go but up.
