Fearless Friday Moving to KLRT

From the tip jar:

Starting Friday, September 6, "Fearless Friday", a local high school football program in the Little Rock television market, is moving to KLRT "FOX16" from sister station KARK. The program will air Friday nights at 9:30 and 10:30 in the fall with    FOX16 Sports Director Wess Moore.

smart move on KLRT/KARK's part. Glad Wess is back on TV, KTHV should be kicking itself for what it's done to the Sports Department. By leveraging the 9:30 slot a ton of parents and students can catch the scores and highlights long before the big three could get around to showing them. My only hope is that they've put a system in place to allow schools to update and validate the score information by/during the 9:30 show.

Yeah because KARK won't show anything sports but Razorbacks.

Because if it ain't from Fayetteville, it ain't sports.

I find very disappointing that KARK has turned their back on central AR sports. Many high schools and colleges in central AR that deserve to be covered and featured.

Shame on you KARK and I have tried to support you through all your bad decisions the last 15 years.

Channel 7 all the way. Nexstar won't be able to do anything to change that.

Most everyone has trouble getting scores and highlights by the end of the 10. Doing it at 9:30 could turn into a horrible mess quickly. Most games won't even be decided by then. What a joke.

More students attend colleges in Central Arkansas than in NW Arkansas and apparently KARK does not see that. Nor does any other station. Also, there will never be a game between ASU and the UA. Old Frank will not permit it since a loss at UA would be devastating to his program. Oh, yes. He is still running tht show you can bet.

Hello, people = viewers.

Channel 7 does a great job of covering ALL sports. Thanks Sully!

Most high school games don't end until right at 10:00. Another stupid Nexstar decision. KARK had a good newscast, it's a shame to see it go.

Less Wes is More! He is weak at best.
His wife needs to sandblast some of that makeup off of her face. She can't ever smile because that stuff would crack and fall off of her face.

Love the Courtney Moores. They are just great people.

You obviously did not read the entire article because it says 9.30 and 10.30 not just 9.30. Hopefully 10.30 show will not be a re-air of 9.30 show or else then yes it will be a big failure.

Friday night football is over as far as local tv is concerned. We simply can't sell it anymore. Why? Because youtube shows more of the game with a larger audience and it is free. Sorry Sully. There is a reason KFC dropped you.

That wasn't the nicest way of saying it, but the above poster speaks the truth. We should really scale back high school football coverage. No more overtime for all the photogs, no more giving up half the newscasts for it. That should be over. Maybe just do one or two big games and call it done. Because yeah - Youtube does it better.

You can see it on the Landers award candidates' faces. They barely care about it at all. I remember when it used to be so exciting for them.

Arkansas doesn't play in-state schools. This is just ridiculous. LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Texas and USC all play in-state schools and how many national championships have they won?

Yes, Frank's policies from the 1950's are still alive and well in Fayetteville.

It is time for the Razorbacks to stop being scared and put on their big-boy pants and play Arkansas State.

It's hard to sell a player on how tough your program is when you are too much of a pussy to play any in state schools.

I wasn't thinking the p-word. More like the Razorbacks are chicken-$h1t for not playing Arkansas State.

Of course, if the local sports broadcasts (TV and radio) were objective and not a propaganda machine for the Razorbacks, this issue would be out in the open and not swept under the rug.

Broyles is, was, and always shall be known as the personification of pussification.

KARK Razorback Nation - the pussifcation personification station.

Why pick on Razorback Nation? Yes they personify the pussification, but all the media in entire state pretty much tuck their junk when it comes to the Razorback Athletic Department.

At least the other stations realize sports actually happens outside of Fayetteville.

Oh really? Maybe just to fill time. Let's do the Pepsi challenge and say Arkansas State wins their 9th game this year and Arkansas wins their 5th... watch Sully cow tow to Fayetteville for the lead.
